hey lacimccleskey, after the floc is added all the dirt goes to the bottom of the pool and it gets way clearer. if you have the small blue vaccum that came with the intex package, its not good because it only movies the dirt with a hose. if you order a vaccum head online, you can get one that attaches to your filter to suck out all the dirt right away.
yea dude a sand filter really is the best way to keep your pool water clean. i have a 15 foot pool and the filter that came with it was garbage, it barely made a difference. i then bought a 100 pound sand filter and i always have clear water> by the way, did you add any chemicals while trying kill the algae?
The second picture where it is cloudy is what mine looks like constantly. I am a new pool owner and have an 18 x 48 pool that I bought used. I purchased a salt chlorinator and a new 2500HP filter pump. I have gotten in the pool and scrubbed the pool to loosen the algae and dirt and used the big vacuum. I have the small vacuum for small debris but cannot figure out how to hook it up. I have searched for answers to no avail. Can you help please?
I got the same filter with salt system combo, does your sand filter goes to low flow constantly?
