it depends on what you're looking for, but to put it simply, Top Spin 3 is definitely the superior tennis game. It's more realistic, its got real locations and the gameplay is deep and satisfying once you get the hang of it (which admittedly takes awhile). The only thing VT2009 has over top spin 3 in my opinion is the specific player animations are done better. But as an overall package, go for Top Spin 3
@SantiMonto9 if you are looking for more rally, get VT 2009 cuz the shots rarely go out, but should you want a game that is more realistic, i do recommend top spin 3, cuz i have top spin 3, and it is fun and very realistic; kinda like real tennis
left, right, left play depends on the person. That type of game play makes the game boring personally, i like good rallys that are more unpredicatable. Top spin is better, more technical definately
