I used to love watching this programme every weekend in the early hours....
I remember going to the Black Orchid once with a bunch of mates, it was your best bet of finding a girl since it was full of student girls from Nottingham Uni... haha..
@MJimiD, they were blatently racsist on the door, and if your face didn't fit you weren't gettin in, havin said that me and my mates were regulars there and got on with all the most of the staff. The clientelle were about 90% white and 10% others combined though.
@wpinklady thats not Clive, Clive was the other dude. He used to dance at the Coconut in Derby before he moved over to Black orchid. He is on Facebook, just do a search on "Bring Back Cconut" and he's there. Hope this helps {;-0)
One of the guys connected to some of these people has just done the a remix: Angie Brown - I'm not listening anymore Tony D CANDY MIX. If your interested in the crews from the Hitman and Her (Jason Orange was one, also 2 off the 911 members the guys who danced for Micheal Jackson and of course the unforgettable Clive AKA Wiggy) then all I can say is there is something VERY interesting happening soon.
What was the date of this clip? This could be one of the only copies of this in existance as sadly a lot of the Hitman and Her masters were wiped. The ones from 1992 are the only ones that are saved fully. They are not the best ones sadly.
Really? I've got old videos of the Hitman and Her from 1991 and before. My parents wouldn't let me stay up late, so my only choice was to use a long-play VHS Tape (6 hours) and record the whole of Night-Time TV.
Why oh why no one ever mentions the always smiling Michaela Strachan. It's just a London Boys production of 1989, an a lost pop tune. Wonderful to hear it again!!!
