  • I used to love watching this programme every weekend in the early hours....

I remember going to the Black Orchid once with a bunch of mates, it was your best bet of finding a girl since it was full of student girls from Nottingham Uni... haha..

    :-P

  • Clive had the power - in his big backside loool,

  • I was working bar 3 when this was filmed

  • I wonder who did Michaela's voice on the single?

  • That Steve Wright lookalike is in his mincing element with that white wig wearing fella

  • @MickeyLove01 White wig was Clive - 80s answer to red bull lol.

  • Notice is all white peeps

  • @MJimiD, they were blatently racsist on the door, and if your face didn't fit you weren't gettin in, havin said that me and my mates were regulars there and got on with all the most of the staff. The clientelle were about 90% white and 10% others combined though.

  • @MJimiD What's that at 6:32 then son? Not to mention the epic Clown in the white wig throughout the whole clip

  • i was there for this and they did it at the nottingham Roxy, with rick astley, and sinitta

  • Orchid boys Yes Patrick Dinnall when i was just 18 year old

  • Has anyone got a copy of their other visits to Nottingham - in particular the one to MGMs?.

  • anybody got it when it was at pink coconut in derby

  • Clive the black guy with the white wig I have heard is on Facebook!!!

  • @wpinklady thats not Clive, Clive was the other dude. He used to dance at the Coconut in Derby before he moved over to Black orchid. He is on Facebook, just do a search on "Bring Back Cconut" and he's there. Hope this helps {;-0)

  • @J1NDA oh right Iam sorry I didnt know that!!! cool thanks for the info!!xx

  • Oh my God take me back to this fab era... makes me feel so old now :-/

  • I remember her presenting a wildlife show

  • What was the date of this clip? This could be one of the only copies of this in existance as sadly a lot of the Hitman and Her masters were wiped. The ones from 1992 are the only ones that are saved fully. They are not the best ones sadly.

  • Really? I've got old videos of the Hitman and Her from 1991 and before. My parents wouldn't let me stay up late, so my only choice was to use a long-play VHS Tape (6 hours) and record the whole of Night-Time TV.

  • michaela didn't know she made song ! good cheesy pop song ! good times

  • Great vid....just spotted myself!!!

  • Why oh why no one ever mentions the always smiling Michaela Strachan. It's just a London Boys production of 1989, an a lost pop tune. Wonderful to hear it again!!!

  • Bring it on!! It was sooooooo cheesey but brill! Just funny that every tune was just about Stock Aitken and Waterman??? Was this a co-incidents? LOL!

  • any more of blackorchid videos best days

  • Thanx for this.
