Psssyche, thanks very much for posting these Television clips. I saw them on the 1992 tour and, having been a fan from 1977 (but too young to go to the gigs in London at that time), it was great to hear these songs played live.
Yeah, Richard Lloyd! Except for the solo, everything is his - the intro, the hook, the snaky guitar lines, everything. (Well, I shouldn't leave out the words and the singing, Verlaine is great too.)
Verlaine can do some impressive stuff while singing, at least from some of the videos I've seen. Anyway, they both rock. Man, Lloyd is so on fire here.

Well, Verlaine can't solo when he's singing so maybe that's why he only plays rhythm when he has to do vocals.
