  • You can tell this was made in the awful SEVENTIES.

  • Id bone the main guy lol

  • @BabyDracula432 Homo. Haha.

  • @DaBrowNukkaTre maybe that's a chick...

  • @84heroes1 AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH you made me chuckle.

  • I love all Scorsese's films, and it might be the trailer, but this looks shit

  • I think Alice doesn't live there anymore...

  • I like the trailer. Is simple... as ir should be.

  • Where DOES she live?

  • I like this movie but it's hard to believe it insprired the comical sitcom Alice, this movie was really dramatic!

  • I always loved this movie and Ellen Burstyn I just finished reading her book.

  • "So look at my face, I don't sing with my ass!" LOL That line still cracks me up.

  • the trailer sucks but it does look like a good movie, id love to see it

  • CAN YOU POST Ellen Burstyn SINGING IN THE FILM I LOVE TO HERE HER SING I CANT FIND THIS SOUNDTRACK ANY WERE ON CD

  • @CAREHAVEN It's there. Search "Piano Medley"

  • That f*cking kid with his wining destroyed the film for me.

  • @DaVooz he was much better as Ogilvie on "The Bad News Bears"

  • Saw this film last year for the first time on TCM, one of the most moving and well written drama's i've ever seen.

  • One great film, except for the unfortunate Christopherson casting.

  • :))))))))))

  • This film was (and IS) great! The scene where she and the kid 'throw water': classic!

Some days ago, I dreamed with Mrs. Burstyn; she was in the city where I lived (Rio de Janeiro - Brazil).

And the film was released (in USA) in the same day I was born!

    Rodrigo

  • Scorsese really knows how to do projects he knows the material for.

  • yeah i still see her as crazy ole sarah goldfarb

  • even then she looked like 'sarah goldfarb'

  • @hallunath totally!

  • Is that Harvey Keitel?

  • That is the worst trailer I have seen for a good film.

  • @bradley583 Agreed! I don't know how they did it but I'm glad I didn't regard this movies simply off the trailer! That was so amazing,..no matter what genre Scorcese gets into, he really understands people and his characters are genuine. He is such a technical mastermind. Loved it!

  • @bradley583 your forgetting the trailer for " Ishtar" ?

  • "Turn around so I can get a look at you" "I don't sing with my ass". LOL

  • Among the very best films of Scorcese's career, and he did it early one. A great, great movie.

  • ellen burstyn is one of the best actresses of her time, but gena rowlands should've won the oscar hands-down.

  • As strong as Rowlands was, Ellen Burstyn was simply breathtaking in this and it's one of the best winners of all time.

  • i agree with you.ellen should have won for both the exorcist & requiem for a dream, though

  • sorry posted to the wrong person

  • i agree

  • i would have made this trailer with the opening soundtrack of alice faye singing 'you'll never know'...showing a SILENT montage.

  • yah I watched this trailer on the dvd and was struck by how horrible it is in relation to the actual film.

  • i guess from watching a couple of old movies trailers , i realize that they used to burn the movie in the trailer , that u can almost see the entire movie with the trailer !

  • This movie IS great, even if the trailer is not...

  • That bartender guy is from Taxi Driver. The guy with the piece of Errol FLynn's bathtub

  • "And the Oscar for the Worst Trailer goes to..."

  • i love this movie.
