Hi Steve. I listened to suth's CD's yesterday on the old hi-fi and some Vinyl (much punchier), like a trip back in time, this is yet another beautiful track here. I do like it when youve added the words to read as you go along, they are so wonderfully crafted. One he wrote called The Island, in about 1967/8, was a favorite of mine, but they only played it live once and never recorded it. Occasionaly the tune comes to me... then drifts away again... maddening!

@ianbannister1 - This is probably my favourite ever track, Champion The Underdog is special too as it is my motto in LIFE ! Sad to hear a track has gone AWOL, they really should have had FAR more success than they actually achieved. This is a beautiful song and the strings make the music very sublime. A wonderful video. I must have missed The Sutherland Brothers in the 70th. Thanks, Steve, for making me aware of them.

Thanks good friend, so many good tracks to chose from. Saviour In The Rain, You Got Me Anyway, Real Love, The Pie, Champion The Underdog, As Long As I've Got You, Easy Come, Easy Go, Laid Back In Anger and Moonlight Lady would be make my top ten with this one. Are my notes a bit much perhaps ? lol
