Cooler Master Hyper TX3 CPU Cooler Review

Hi i have a question bro, i just bought this and speedfan says that rpm of the fan are at 1300 and cooler master`s page says that it can reach 2800rpm how can i make it go faster? cause the cpu temperature its at 58º and it is too much i would thank u a lot. i put the fan in front of the back fan.

Have this cooler, keeps my phenom 2 x2 550 BE at 28c at 3.5 ghz idle (40c load). and on my 3.7 ghz oc it keeps it 32c idle (45c load)

@DeeJaySiddall apparently from many reviews, the copper "small" contact is enough to draw the heat into the pipes and then onto the fins

My CPU is a Phenom II x4 955 black edition (3.2Ghz). I dont plan on Overclocking. Will this Fan keep the CPU cool? Also if it helps any I have AMD radeon HD 6850 as my GPU. Also for future reference what are good Temps for a CPU to be at?

I have it on my i5 750-2,66GHz runnin' @4,00GHz. 40*C on idle and 53*C on full-load. I used artic silver paste and a I lapped the heatsink.

this is a very decent cpu cooler, i bought it a month ago, my q8400 is overclocked to 3.2ghz and at full load never hits more than 66degrees on the hottest core! the coolest core is 8 to 10 degrees cooler. the only thing that helps performance of this cooler in my case is a 120mm case fan blowing straight on top of it!

@DorkyD4v1d: Oh! Hmm.. I havent read all the posts here but did U use a silver based thermal compound? (small amount of it?) . I OC'd my cpu / board FSB last night & predict I'll get higher temps in future during prolonged gaming like in the summer ( tropical climate). highest temp (stock cooler) was 57C. Taking out the motherboard to install a cooler with a brace is something im not too excited to do, so I'd be glad if this cooler does the job.

@Vargen14 I think you should buy it and put another 92mm Revoltec Air gaurd on it the cooler master fan will be extremely quiet then since it barely has to spin and the revoltec cooler is very quiet at it's stock 1500RPM
