I'm glad you asked lol. I play by ear. I know what that part sounds like but it's hell for me to figure it out on my own. I can't really read music so until I got that part down I kinda just left it out as not to ruin the song. Don't worry once I learn it I will try it again. BTW if your an anime or game fan and you have a song you like send me a sample of it give me some time and if you'd like I'll try to tackle it. Can't promise I will learn ALL of it but I will tyr my best,.

Holy shit, love kraid's lair!

It was one of the first songs I learned to play (and the only song where I learned a part of it from sheet music.) You should reeeeeaaally make another video of yourself playing this.

This one is already great, but the only problem is that, after hitting B, you hit A instead of A#. Well, it's not really a problem if you're playing in a different mode.

It really fits the alien-spacey theme of Metroid, particularly near the end.

I play by ear I cannot read music, I am jus tnow learning after teaching myself since I was 6. I at times tend to change notes to what I THINK they sound like they should be or what I feel sounds bette rlol

theres always the same wrong note (the last note of the main riff), and it sounds weird, you should fix that, but otherwise its pretty nice :)

i know, since i play by ear i had a hard time figuring out what that note was so i tired to wing it a little, the reason it sounds so weird is becuase i had the transpose on the organ too low so it didn't come out just right i plant to redo it later

i just composed the song for cello and piano in 2 or 3 days. i just learned the whole thing by ear as well.

Impressive Cello is a sound I never thought I'd try. Being a self taught keyboardist I find it fun to mess with sounds. I may try that and see how it fits.

if not i suggest looking up Dapths of Brinstar from the SSBM Smashing Live! CD. It includes an orchestral arrangement of Kraid's lair.
