this is just a beautiful song and i truly think that it encapsulates the essence and the beauty that exist within this particular anime. yea the plot certainly leaves us lost and baffled in a number of areas but its still brilliantly done. the music and the dialog that exist between the wolves and the humans makes up for the deficiencies that exist in the plot. this is a anime that values friendship and morals and commitment, each wolf being very childlike and focusing on one goal, paradise

In episode number 29 Quent died. Damn he was so cool and I felt so sorry with him. I loved how he saved Blue when this car drove fastly to her. First I thought Toboe is a little not very intelligent boy but how he fought with darcia, when he attacked Quent, was so impressing. I'm very sad that they died in the end because I thought Toboe could be the new fellow of the old surly man.

Well anyway, the book opens and that eerie song starts playing as Darcia begins his very intense sounding monologue. I don't think they actually released it though in the soundtrack...

The story of wolfs rain is based on a indian story. I was reading in a wolf book and there where myths of wolves in and I recognised it at some parts. But wolfs rain is the modern version of it. But really good!!
i think all of theme borned a gain ! kiba , tsume , hige , tobue , lunar tome ( moon flower or part of cheza ) , and also ... blue ,oyajisan (yaiden san) , hubb and cher , and all of pure wolfs and animals and all of pure pepole who died by nobels borned again !
come on now...the ending wasnt bad...not like in CLAMP's X the movie (if you've ever seen it)...the point is the ending was good for the show...atleast i think
Well, a tragic ending isn't necessarily a sucky ending ( example : Cowboy Bebop ). Wolf's Rain ending was maybe a little rushed ( so confusing... or maybe it was on purpose XD, the creators wanted us to interpret on our own the ending ) I must admit... but I pretty much accepted the tragedies ( even if they're very very sad, of course ).
yeah thats true, you also gotta think that, they got what they were looking for the WHOLE time, they finally got it but i dont think they expected it to be given to them that way. They probably met up again and laughed about the whole thing, remembering they are pretty much family. :D
