@buzzerede Yes - legend has it that when Richard D James got his record deal with R & S Records, he had mastered this track to cassette & then lent it to his mate who'd been playing it in his car stereo. James had to "borrow back" the cassette master which had become slightly chewed by the car stereo. However, like many other stories surrounding Aphex Twin, pinning down the absolute truth is often an inexact & elusive business. I merely offer this as what I read on the subject back in the 1990s.
