You're drunk? I never would have guessed ;) I agree about the sympathetic vibrations though, I've always wanted something that could simulate that. I think some of the higher end keyboards do.
Wow... I don't remember leaving this message, I suppose I was pretty lit up lol...
Why not get a piano? I got my piano (50's baldwin acrosonic) for free. 75 bucks got it tuned and regulated. I really haven't touched my keyboard much since.
Check Craigslist out, people give good pianos away constantly... Even Grand Pianos. Nice little Consoles have decent enough bass and take up as much room as a keyboard.
BTW your very good, I hope to be at your level in (optimistically) 12-18 months.
You are really funny. Many years ago I was read a science fiction book about crazy inventor who created inventions when He was drunk and when He wake up He try quess what He invented last night. I was hard because He has hangover. Your comment remind me this book. Thanks. ;-)
It happens to me in my compositions though. It also did not take me 12 months to get this good. I am real close now... 2-10 hours a day I practice (10 hours on weekends).
Still drunk though!
Silver Sun Pick Ups are awsome, like Rachmaninoff (almost)
Slow down man alcoholism is so boring... ;-). But in other hand practise make perfect. ;-)
Book name - "The Proud Robot" 1982 by Henry Kuttner describe inventions of Galloway Gallegher. Inventor has proud robot named Joe who is sick His alcohol addiction. Its more funny than "polish jokes" so I read again this book. I recommend this story ...it`s so human :-)
In my opinion, it's one of the less difficult pieces. It requires a lot of octave work, but the dynamic range is generally "loud, louder, and loudest". If you can get the staccato and pedal right you're most of the way there.
I'm surprised and very impressed! You are a really good player. I enjoyed listening to this piece of great music. And the look on your face at the beginning.... ;)
Thanks Anna, or should I say... nah, forget it. :-) Actually, that was me just making sure that the video was recording, I didn't want to get through the whole thing and find out nothing got recorded.
I like Chopin a lot, my piano teacher many years ago said I was a lot like him. I guess I can see it, I have less difficulty interpreting his music than, say, Mozart. Maybe I have an inner Polish :D
I am a pianist. (drunk pianist right now lol)...
I hate the sustain pedal of keyboards. On an actualy piano it allows all the strings to sing sympathetically to music being played.
On an electronic keyboard only the notes you hit are sustained.
Is a complete differeant sound and I hate keyboards for it. Im drunk.

I've listened to this quite a few times, and each time I appreciate it even more. You do a fantastic job and I, too, am very impressed.
Do you take requests? I love Arabesque by Debussy. Can you play that? I'm sure that would be beautiful, especially the way you play.

I noticed at 44 seconds the lighting got darker. Did a light bulb blow? Just curious.
