A musician friend told me to check out the Ray Charles version for a possible duo performance. I am glad I heard your version first. Singing and playing like you mean it, is what music is about. Well-done
very well done...piano was amazing and the soulful rendition splendid. I did a version of this song as well. its more of a showtune version. but its worth checking out if you get bored. keep up the good work. :-)
I agree with krista great talent and very soulfull sound. Piano playing is very good and would be fantastic if you were in a megabuck recording studio. Everyone assumes everything they hear should be mixed and recorded perfectly. Definitely subscribing and keep playing and posting.
nice to se eyou back. You're good even at piano man! The only 'bad' thing about this is the sound quality of the video for I'm sure the effect would be much better if we could hear you properly! Could we have listened you live there, I think it would have been a very special performance!
(post more vids man!!! ah! do some more therapy!!) ;)
well, it's not awful...the pounding is, er...less than...well, but it's still fabulous because. so far, you just cain't to no wrong. But I like the geetar better.
I'm nice to you because I LOVE LOVE LOVE and can't live without music. I really admire people who are musical and put themselves out there so those of us who are less musical can enjoy. And, you play Ani...OK, so that's more the thing than I'll really admit but I give extra credit to anyone who plays Ani - particularly those of the XY persuasion. I ADORE your stuff. Answer your question?
This is so good.

You really shouldn't be so hard on yourself. You really are very good, and you should post more videos. :)

I'm a gal, not a man...but hey, I'd be pretty stoked if I could play the pianny anywhere near as "poorly" as you.
galadriel6969 4 years ago
Oh - apologies!
Well thank you for this and all the other sweet comments you've left me...I don't know why you're so nice to me, but I like it! ;)

Thanks, but I'm cringing a bit as I listen to this again.

Don't be so quick to dismiss your skills at the ivories. The audio could be cleaned up a bit but it sounds superb...
