  • awsome i like that

  • this sucks and so do you

  • @hjenkinz do you know what a life is? you should get one.

  • @SimonsRandomChannel maybe you shouldnt have killed that child

  • @hjenkinz Youre not making any sense...

  • @SimonsRandomChannel and then the things you did to his corpse. fucking disgraceful, you should be ashamed

  • Blizzard also uses Maya

  • looks realy cool...;)

  • What computer hardware do I need to do it smoothly? Talking about cheepest possible. Processor, Ram, GPU card. Can I get it with a Quadro 380 Lp ?

  • fake !

  • @Zevl12 Noob °_° its a animation

  • @Kuchen90000 Yes thats what it makes it funny

  • @Zevl12

yeh.......that would be if it was funny

  • really nice

  • very good

    i salute you sir

    or madam, lol

  • That motion blur makes it look very good!

  • Fracture... I've seen it and tried it, but could never get anything to look as neat as that.

    Good job.

  • what is fracture? im guessing a plugin that breaks objects apart?

  • that would be mental ray I think

  • i want fracture in bleeendeeeer >:D

  • bleh, maya is alright but i think 3ds max is a much more powerful program.

  • I have been using 3DS Max for about a week and I can already tell it is more powerful than Maya or Blender (which I have used for about 6 months and 3 years respectivley), but Blender is just as powerful as Maya and a bit easier than Maya, but not as powerful as 3DS Max. But 3DS Max is the most difficult to learn and use. That's my opinion on the 3 3D-CGI software programs I know have used.

  • @31Orcas I've been using Max for going on 10 years now and I still can't even claim to know more than about 60% of its raw potential. That isn't including all the scripts and plug-ins you can get for it...

  • I wish I installed the 3DS Max trial when I actually had time to use it : /...

  • It has no where near the flexibility and options as maya... lol there is a reason most major production companies use it paired with in house stuff.

  • It's hard to justify that statement when Max and Maya are both used extensively by many companies. In fact some game and production companies use both at the same time.

Bungie, Blizzard, ILM, Atari, Midway are a few examples of 'Major' companies that use Max, whereas Lucasarts and Nickelodeon Animation studio use Maya. Epic uses both.

And being as Autodesk makes both products, its really just a matter of what you need. Model or Workflow? Splines or Nurbs? etc....

  • its actualy the opposite...

movies 2012 and avatar were , for example, made in max !!!!

maya is for amatures. just flashy buttons. i have both, maya is outdated. and max script it extremly powerful...

and rigging in max is super, then export it to motion builder!!!!!!

far cry 2 was made in max and motion builder!!!!

  • @Icarcus dont post if you dont know what your talking about. Avatar used both Maya and Max, Maya is extremely powerful.

  • max is better for effects and architecture maya for organic modeling and rigging and animation

  • pffft do i have to switch back to 3dsmax for this wounderfull physics?????

i finally suited myself into maya

  • hoooooooow you do this?? Maybe someone have any articles about "fractures" in reactor??

  • WOOOOOW very coll nice vid. 5/5 :)

  • cool, im going to look for a fracture tutorial now lol....you should make one!

  • hi,enslaver. did you use bounding box as simulation geometry in this one?

  • do you know of any good tutorials for fracture? im a noob at this stuff.

  • hmm no not really, you just have to google it, goodluck :D

  • @cantdecideausername

friend try this one, hope it will help. see the video response Fracture tutorial.

are then search Simple fracture tutorial

  • good stuff bro est. time ?

  • not long, maybe 15 mins to setup and a bit longer to render on my slow pc

  • Cool. Without practical knowledge I would have assumed it was done with Blast Code or something.

  • Did you pre-fracture then place into a fracture collection?

  • yes

  • Do you have a process that you take to creature your pre-fractures? I'm looking for a scalable method that would work for larger more complex fractures

  • nice simulation and nice render

  • thanks :)
