@danpon1 i am a guy who was a mcdonalds and parade all american in h.s. Plus, i played d1 and professionally overseas with many of the top players in basketball, so my opinion should mean something. davis is a great h.s talent and will be a good - great d1 player. but, he is far from being a nba prospect. he have a lot of work to do. its one thing to dominate in h.s when your are taller than 90% of the players. i have watched him play and there is a number of things that he must work on.

@danpon1 i have seen players come and go. he is ranked number 1 now today. those rankings will be done again at the end of the season. he might drop. from looking at the video he needs to work on his dribbling, size, speed, and upper body and lower body strength if he wants to be a decent nba player. hes not even close to being ready for the nba. im not hating. im being honest. as a guy whos played the game and have friends in the league. i wish him best.

@danpon1 Firstoff, there are several rankings systems. A players can be number one with scout, no.3 with espn, no.5 with bob gibbons. Davis is ranked no.1 with scout, no.4 bob gibbons, and no.2 espn. none of these rankings means anything now. remember felipe lopez.

@upinya25 not always. dj strawberry started at maryland over a mcdonalds all american that averaged 30 a game in h.s. look at those past mcdonalds roster and see how many were bust. look at some of the former all-usa players that did not panout. noone is perfect. nba and nfl coaches misjudge players all the time. so do college coaches. the thing is the media will not embarass a college bust the way they would do a professional bust. like i said in my earlier post ; i wish him the best.
