Hi Haiying, I hope you're well, just wondering if you could explain the word 哟 for me. I was listening to a song and came across it and it was unclear what it meant. 追月的彩云哟。。。
Hrmm.. I don't often hear people saying 啦.. I guess it might be a regional thing maybe? or perhaps something that females say more than men? I certainly hear 了 which of course has a different meaning (the past tense thing).. and I of course hear 吧 for making suggestions.. I know that women tend to say 阿 a lot but the men don't seem to make that sound much.. It's interesting to me that women speak differently to men in 普通话 :) I learn for only 2 years now..
Thank you for making this video! Learning Mandarin straight from the book is not as useful as your videos that also teach practical use!
