It is far more reasonable to believe in the beginning eternal God.Then it is for me to believe in a cosmic accident . The bottom line through my experience hundred times hundred times in my life . Order and design point to and intelligent mind. through my experience in life hundred times hundred times everything that has a beggining has a cause.Give me one example where something had a beggining that didnt have a cause one example?

that there was a big bang 20 billion years ago where nothing exploded in

everything then the earth cooled down produce a hard rocky crust and it rain

for millions of years on the rocks and the rocks turn into soup . The soup

found somethng to eat and something to marry and in evovled into everything

today. Now that is silly to believe nothing exploded into something and we

I have no idea about evolution ok lets keep it simple here . Most scientist will agree that the universe had a beginning . the atompshere in the universe is decreasing . Back in the day the scientist use to believe the universe was eternal they abandon that idea awhile ago even your great Guru Richard dawkins would agree with that.If you want a reference i will supply it for you. So if the earth had a beginning then something came from nothing and the big bang produce everything.We came nothing

For the record, Carl Sagan would be more of a guru to me. Theists are more hung up on Dawkins than any atheists I know.

excellent point, another question I have is if we evolved from one strand of D.N.A. along with all these other creatures we know of why are humans the only ones that ended up with the intelligence to figure out where we came from? why not our alleged close relatives, the primates? or should I just say monkeys so as not to confuse anyone.

What turned me away from the Catholic Church are varied. One of them was because of the nuns that taught me. They were mean, very much like the school masters in Charles Dickens' books.

I went to a lutheran school, you know, catholic light(also), I didn't become an atheist, i turned pagan. Yeah, some things I believe are probably insane, but I won't be killing anybody for my religion, and hell, drinking wine, dancing around fires, and shit like that is fun at any rate

That's the fuck of not being christian, muslim, or jewish. They pull the evil card, because, without God, there's no morals, in their view at least. It's funny, most people who don't follow, "the big 3" have a better sense of reality, at least, in a moral standpoint. There's something about evolving ideas, that scares people with old, "holy" books.
