Although has a point that when looking back at the wreched life- an ex-sinner can see their past sins as all pieaces of the journey to where they are, to where they have arrived, and at that moment move forward, carrying there memory yet free of their burden- and living a wiser more holy life.
Therefor Jesus does not see sins as holy things rather they are not so bad, as they can be forgiven, and learnt from, yet sin is clearly to be avoided
Should god come to you then you know from god that you are worthy for love-and from there knowing you are loved and are worthy of love, move forward. that belief inherently stems from God and not you. And as many of those that god has come to state clearly that we are all loved by God and beings worthy of it, yet ofcourse you can never believe or feel that until you in-some-way meet god.
either through the words of his sevants or feeling that God sends himself.
@099749 I agree that to a degree Christ- would probably say that a stero typed life is a dead one, a prison, a trapped soul not free to live- but restrained, either by fear or through fear.
Christ calls us to live lives free of fear which calls us to walk with insecurity, and learn about ourselves, to have such a profound understanding of good and bad that, in all situations whatever comes we can do the right thing. a safe life never faces those risks or challenges- and is soft and easy.
The point of christs critic "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" Jesus is saying your all sinners here and therefore, stoning this women is anything but justice- it's the sinner stoning the sinner for being a sinner!
Forgiveness possible and this sinners return to god possible, should she be killed then the sinner that did so would be in a worse position, and the women less likely to be ok on the day of judgement- poss- no oportunity for her to chage her life and come back to God.
Oscar widle on Jesus.
And he is wrong about sin:
