@bartandart Yes, thanks. I found out later. I always do that. Ask first, and then a couple of clicks later I find out. LOL! Ah, the internet. And I don't know who the drummer is on this one yet, but I saw he's played with Kenwood Dennard, who played with Jaco for a few years. Dennard's kind of a wacky madman (probably why he fit well with Jaco especially during his later years), which is why I like him.
Nigel Tufnel could do this :) kidding of course Stanley is so very unique. I used to listen to him religiously back in the late 80's and 90's. Hard to believe this guy was once a street musician. What? yea he was. Gotta be one of the last truly great innovators. God bless you SJ.
This is a very unique & orginional take on stairway...one of which that cannot be immediately tabed out or duplicated "just like that"...takes a hell of a lotta practice, skill, technique, TIME, and overall just heart & passion to pull off anything close to what we just witnessed here...This is unmatched.
@r4m0n0 Then it's a Vigier Passion, an Arpege with a flatter fingerboard. (Wiki, Vigier/Stanley Jordan) Not hard to get in the UK is as far as I know.
