I'm a gun tech and I personally haven't worked on GBBs too much so I was wondering if by installing these upgrades especially the recoil springs will increase wear and tear on the slide and hammer stop? I'm interested in installing a 160% spring kit in mine

of all the items installed in this video the flow valve is the one item that would have the most effect on fps. next to have the most effect on fps is the madbull tight bore and lastly the piston head having the least effect of the three.

with that said, your initial review of this pistol, in stock form, had it shooting at the chrono at around 300-315 fps. what is the fps of this pistol after the three items (valve, piston head, and tbb) were installed?

CA M14 is an AEG, this video is for a GBB pistol. two very different animals.

FPS wasn't much different since the pistol already came with a pretty stiff hammer spring.

The recoil and action became way smoother. Shot cleaner and just felt smoother.

Does it make it run out of gas easier?

the hammer spring has little to no effect on the fps of a gbb pistol. all it does is it makes the hammer fall quicker than a stock hammer spring would. the recoil spring obviously makes the slide return to the ready position quicker than a stock spring would.

Have you noticed any wear on the slide or outer barrel? And is the airsoft surgeon spring 150%?

Pretty sure it's the 150% spring set.

Barrel and slide on my Wilson is beat up from use but overall no cracks or wear marks on the edges. Still perfect (besides scratches) :)

Gloves are for cleaner teching. Grease, grime, and oil allover our hands is unsanitary.  Especially foreign grease, who knows where it came from :)

i got the same pistol, its great but the slide doesnt lock back when its out of bbs it just keeps going:( do you know any way to make the slide lock back?

just take the gun apart to where its just the slide, slide catch and lower body of gun. lube it and put it back together. it will eventually start locking again. just keep doing trying that. Good luck :)
