Its strange, ive seen footage of planes flying lower than this at this airport and ive seen them flying higher, just shows the discrepency between each landing, any slight pilot error and these lemmings standing in the flight path are toast, literally!.

@guitdude09 This is because the approach at St.Maarten is visual or non-precision. The glide slope would have a deviation of about 3 degrees up or down so every pilot would fly it differently but the PAPI would still indicate that they are on the glide slope.

you know the engine sound is over 90 decibels sow to much of that sound and you might get a lose of hearing , ou and for the normal non pilot people those landings are outomated :) i Think the airport is aproved for CAT 3 C sow you can have automated landing flaring and probably automated taxy if the airplane hase one ;)
