like to have that or park ave but with todays gas prices im having trouble getting good MPG on my 02 chevy Malibu and thats a V-6 3100 God only knows how much i would be spending to fill one of those up
I miss the '96 LeSabre we had, but I am gratefull that it protected my younger brother in the accident that I knew he was bound to have. That is why I did not take it from him and let him keep it. Because of that decision my brother suffered the only injury that night & that was a bruised knee. Better to loose the car than my bro, Lesabre, good to the very end. BTW, I absolutly hated what GM did to the face in '97.
@suburbanator91 yeah they wussed it up after '96. The 92-96 were handsome cars. Love my '92. I think if you found a good low mileage one and tucked it away it would definitely be collectable in about 25 years. They're not muscle cars but they have panache and style, like a 90's Hudson Hornet.
I had a 1993 LeSabre and loved it! I'd still be driving it if some mechanics hadn't ripped me off by not replacing the fuel pump when they claimed they did!
My mom had a lesabre, but now we have a Lucerne.... we bought the CXL and are realizing that we should've bought the CXS with the V8 engine...... the 3.8 is a bit sluggish with a car as heavy as it is
I can't praise the LeSabre enough. They are safe, comfortable, and if you drive it smoothly, great on gas. I agree that the styling on the LeSabres has been bland for a long time. Thats probably why they dropped the name in favor of Lucerne. To help get rid of the old people stigma. The Lucerne's exterior and interior are light years ahead of where the LeSabre was during its last model year. Buick interiors are now on par with Toyota, Honda, and VW.
omg we were ridin in my friends moms 94 sabre and the oil plug fell out and we bout killed it i always tighten the plug on my 95 sabre now. lol he bout hit the old lady
Any GM with the 3.8L plastic manifold V6 isn't worth consideration. Previous to that though, they were pretty darn good cars. I loved the '91 Park Ave. I had for a short time.
I ike '96, that waqs the last year the side markers were with the head light assemblt, than they were moved to the bumper in '97 which I did not like.
make sure to get all the races in there.

The Lucerne has a way to go if it wants to be a Le Sabre.

My grandmother's 1996 LeSabre literally saved her life when it was hit head-on on '03. Need I say more about this wonderful automobile? I think not!

One of the best full sized cars I've ever owned and will buy another one when this one dies. Only 84K now so it'll be with me a long time still.

A few years ago I was wanting a Roadmaster wagon. White with the woody paneling and vista roof! Then gas prices went sky high. Glad I didn't get one.

Safe alright! ours has hit a saturn, a dodge and a deer and still rocks despite my relentless pounding on it! Nothing can kill the 'Sabre!
