  • Awesome slide "pliers" tip!!!! Thanks!!!!

  • Thanks for the slide hammer tip. I'm gonna make one tomorrow as soon as I buy a grip. As always your video has helped a great deal and your welds have impressed me.

  • how much do these tables cost, looks like you could fairly easily fabricate one from a cheap shop table. just replace the top wood part with some 1/4 or 1/2"

  • slide hammer so smart, i going to make one, thank for that tip. the others at my shop will be impressed.

  • The aluminum acted like a heat sink correct? Great video. I enjoy shop knowledge tricks. As always, thanks for the great vid.

  • @simpleinseattle yep, the aluminum block was a big heat sink...lots of questions about why the aluminum didnt melt too....thats one reason, the other is that the oxide on the aluminum is hard to melt on DCEN. If that pin was aluminum, it would have been tricky

  • A broken or improperly placed indexing pin can ruin your day for sure!!!

    nice work !

    peace

  • Hey jody. Is your filler hand a fiberglass glove? Tig hand?! Also great idea. I love these insider pro tips. I wouldn't mind more of these :) thanks jody

  • 5:05 did you just get the tattoo jody???

  • @605manuel... I forgot to wash that sucker off...its a fake tattoo I was trying out for my grand-kids.

  • Brilliant video, a cluster of great tips. I would have worried about melting the aluminum. Or, if similar metal, welding the stud to the piece.

I liked that portable welding table as well. Looks like it could be made by hand. What kind of metal is the base made of?

  • great tips as usual. Thanks for taking the time to make videos.

  • Wasn't there a danger of "melting" the aluminum?

BTW does anybody out there have a problem with your gas tanks leaking??? I've used my tanks sporadically, both mig and tig tanks, and my tig tank was empty. It's leaking from some where. I'm thinking from the pressure relief valve.

  • @CoolasIce2 It is best to shut off the main valve on the bottle after use because it doesn't take much for them to empty from the smallest leak.

  • @littlestworkshop I do. I do, but both my tanks have a lot less pressure in between uses.

  • @CoolasIce2 Doesn't make any sense unless you just happen to have two faulty tanks, at least when you refill you get a new one. I am an irregular user and only lose pressure if I don't turn off the taps on the tanks themselves.

  • @littlestworkshop I guess I'm an unlucky sob. I'll be upgrading to a bigger tank and I'll check the connections with soap and water before I take it home.

  • awesome job as usual.

  • Another Great Vid!!
