  • Glad your ok! Don't feel bad about the bike. It can be replaced. But YOU can't be replaced. Are you planning on buying another one?

  • @iTziLLUMY thanks. yeah, unfortunately that's more down the line though. once i move out and/or get married lol i'll be sure to have a hybrid car AND another 675 (r or special edition) but of course, i'll need to buy some better gear this time around... lol

  • Damn man. Nice to see youre alive. Scary stuff. I've bee riding for a few months now and stories like this are very humbling.

    How much was your Daytona?

  • its good to see your alright, thank god it wasnt something more serious. So are you planning to ride again or is your bike riding experience over. I know if you do, its going to be very difficult.

  • @sbk808 Yeah, thank you. I'm glad I made it through too.

YES. Usually, drivers don't look for bikes/people because they're in a sealed space. Basically protected (they feel safe/fearless/careless -- until they hit someone). Unlike us, we're vulnerable. We need to keep our eyes wide open searching a 270 degree range at all times. The only way they'd understand how to drive better, is if they were in the seat of a rider or a pedestrian. It's important to learn from different perspectives.

  • well on the plus side it mainly looks cosmetic and maybe the front forks, so you could fix it if you want but even if you dont you could at least sell it for parts

  • Can you tell us a little about the accident..like what actually happened..and maybe some tips and such. Thanks.

  • @submissions72 The driver said she was unable to see/hear me coming when she looked. I saw her checking for traffic twice. Both times, taking at least 3-4 seconds. I assumed she saw me because she was stopped. I continued to maintain speed. She came out when I had about 20 feet (est.) of space. Pulled in my clutch/brake. Downshifted, slowly applied rear. Then, blacked out

My tip is to practice swerving/strong braking on your free time. Search Knox Hand Armour on youtube. Potential hand saver xD

  • @DimSumJim Thanks bro. God speed in healing! I hope one day you get back on the bike.

  • Hi DSJ - Was the 675 your first bike? & how long had you been riding motorcycles previously?

I'm pleased that your recovery is going well too. Take care :-)

  • @boobtubeviewr indeed, it was my first bike. Good thing too because it was apparently my last one... lol I got it in May 2009. But I had my license for almost a year before I could even afford to buy my bike.

Thank you very much = ) I will. I hope you all the best on the track/roads too.

  • aww jimmy i hope you get better. and when you do you gotta teach me how to edit videos

  • @jyflum Thanks JL. Will do, will do. We should all go play some bball soon. After all the club events are done for the semester xD

  • Man I think you had the most serious accident out of all the vloggers that have crashed recently. :( I was cringing watching your cast getting sawed off too! Thanks for your advice. Your experience really drives it home....

  • @808yewtube lol yeah... I was actually shocked. At least 3 other people I know crashed within days of my accident... It's really getting dangerous. Good thing you got a 250 though! That thing must be a lot of fun lol just so happens you picked out my favorite color too xD

  • whoa dude how did that happened?

are you going to plan on riding anymore?

this kind of making me having a second though about driving motorcycle

well that's good that u doing fine man

  • @youngcool I pretty much experienced what the biker in the commercial went through. Car came out, and I couldn't maneuver or stop in time.

I'm not going to be riding my own bike anymore, I'm saving for a car right now, but my friend offered to let me try out his Duc 848 once I heal. ^^b

Don't be scared, my tip is just to be aware 110% at all times. Make no assumptions, and get better gear than I had xD

thanks broski. I'm glad I lived to share the experience with everyone. ride safe!

  • @DimSumJim what kind of car are you trying to save up for? I'm currently driving a 09 Civic Si coupe. Sound sweet dude, duc 848 is a fast bike! are you eventually going to get another bike?

  • @youngcool I'm KIND OF focused on getting a GSR Integra, but I'm not sure yet I guess. I want something rear wheel drive if I don't get a good deal on a teggy. We'll see come December time though. The 09 si looks sweet. I still can't afford it though lol

yeah I'm a lil worried about getting back on one, but I really miss it. The Ducat will probably fill my needs. I just wanna get over my paranoia. My family is a lil worried already so I prolly won't ride for a couple decades lol = (
