  • u can get hard if u r cyber man so who want to be like them?

  • @GreatSage91

It was the leader of Torchwood London. So it actually sounded like a woman, not a little kid.

  • i havea favorite cvberman. itwas thatone thatsounded like a little kid in "doomsday" and shot the other cybermen because he survived after the doctor gave the cybermen their feelings back

  • What the fuck!? I seen a pic of my friend Derpy Hooves on DA getting turned into, well THESE fucked up things so I had to complain. Don't fuck with the ponies, you sci-fi NERDS!

  • Guess who stop the cybermen?

    DOCTOR WHO

  • Are there anymore of these and if So? is it online somewhere?

  • Heres what I dont get.. If the cybermen upgraded everyone.. Then what? Oh and guys the new matt smith doctor who episode is called The doctor, the lion, and the wardrobe.

  • Daleks kicked their asses....

  • huh, the Terminator equivalent in Dr. Who

  • @626Link terminators didn't assimilate people (until terminator 4 which was bad) but they are more like the Borg equivalent

  • i will hack,

    *puts sunglasses on

    TO WAR!

    YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • I love the cybermen

    DELETE DELETE DELETE >:D

  • @ZeZombieKiller So the Lumic ones, not the Mondaisian ones (Exellent!)

  • tht is awesome

  • Ohhhhhh... this guy down my street was ranting about parallel universes, massive ice tombs and cyborgs and all that... I thought he had just went off his medications. Thanks for clearing that up.

  • He didn't mention that they Cybermen are allergic to gold, and that it kills them instantly...

  • @fivebearrugs not sure if the new ones are. probably not, what with all the bling Jackie had around her the Cybermen would've been screwed. plus there was that thing back in the day. Cybermen were silver and thus beaten by gold. nowdays they are steel so i dunno. mayeb we could have a variation of the glitter gun and steel AND silver cybermen

  • @fivebearrugs Only this universe version (and not all of them I think)

  • So damn creepy

  • the thing i dont like about these type of monsters is that they dont rly have a believable objective. I mean if they turn everybody in cybermen then what ? but then i guess since its what their creator wanted it makes barely just barely sense ^^

  • @picorettte Then they'll be a superior version of us. And the next logical step (in their perception) of evolution. After they upgrade us, evolution, upgrades and updates will take their due course. Cyberman 4S could be on the way soon lol

  • @picorettte I heard that the cybermen were supposed to represent communism. They believe that everything will be perfect if they can institute a system where everyone is the same and everyone is equal.

  • @tehreporter i dunno if they meant that but there are an aweful lot of parallel between them and the soviets of the cold war (or western perceptions of soviets). both come from a cold snowy land, both do not want to kill you like Nazis, but convert you, to make you uniform, strip you of your individuality and integrate you as part of a greater mechanism that shallforever expand. hell they even have C for communism on their chests

  • @tehreporter maybe yes

  • @picorettte I wonder if our ape-like ancestors asked the same question. "Evolve into humans, then what?" Obviously they didn't, but you get the idea. We believe we're better than our ancestors at surviving, and civilisation. The cybermen believe the same, so they want everyone to be upgraded.

  • We can learn so much from the example of the Cybermen. For example, anything that can be done by one person can be done better by a group of eight people marching in single file. That five to seven of those people will have nothing to do when all is said and done is irrelevant.

  • Jack is so badass with his swishy great coat of swishiness!

  • If a cyberman wanted to upgrade captain jack it wouldn't work because he can't die

  • @shawnjr067 You don't die when you get upgraded, you suffer extreme mental and physical changes. Also, Jack CAN, and frequently does, die. He just can't stay dead. Besides, the Human stays alive throughout the upgrade (see the Torchwood episode with the cyberwoman; the upgrade failed because the guy died before the upgrade was complete). Jack would remain alive as a brain, then have his brain altered and attached, and he'd be in invicible cyberman. If you ripped his brain out, he'd return.

  • @dalekcaan1963reborn I'm not saying he doesn't die.I'm saying he's basicly he is invicible because he never dies he just comes back

  • @shawnjr067 But he can still be converted, the fact that he always ends up remaining alive only makes him more compatible. We'd be really screwed if he was a cyberman D:

  • Cybermen are only superior in the aspect that they die easier than Daleks

  • Actualy people who dosent have arms and legs are being replaceit with this plastic copy arms and legs. plus i hear that theres eyes fuctioned with this electronic device for people who cant see. also there are people who have heart problems and need help from this machine to help them.

  • Anyone notice that the Cybermen emblem looks exactly like the gas door of a Hummer?

  • 0:31 woooooww jack posing that that woow

  • cybermen look aufully like ultron

  • @togurotoguro sorta

  • Cynermen......mortal combat cyrax and sector

  • *grins* I'm quite pleased the Mondasian (i.e. original) Cybermen are finally making appearances in the new series. The alternate Earth ones were interested but kinda felt like someone else's Cybermen, y'know? ;~)

  • I love how he talks about the Classic Cybermen almost more than the new ones, because , frankly, There better.

  • @OttselSpy24 in what way are they better..?

  • would never agree to be upgraded? i would queue for it

  • i am so scared of the actual cybermen. ino their just men in suits but they still scare me

  • um this was made by bbc to sckare you all you divs

  • I, for one, welcome our new computer overlords.

  • @Nerdylation Lies...you know we're going to be taken over by ants ;)

  • thumbs up if you think the first doctor cybermen are the scaryest

  • "Human 2.0," would be more along the lines of organic bodies, heavily augmented with genetic engineering, invasive technology, and nanotechnology (with our emotions and personality still intact). In short: look to Transhumanity in the Pen and Paper RPG Eclipse Phase as a better example than the Cybermen or the Borg. Why limit yourself into a fixed form when you can become a fluent mind that switches to the most efficient body need for any given task?

  • Bring back the old cybermen they worked to hard to be left out of the new series or how about old vs new cybermen

  • @pedro27mumble It would actually be very interesting to see the classic Cybermen up against the Cybusmen. Since technically they aren't even related to each other.

  • @chrisaira How so? In appearance, story, abilities...?

  • I would love to see them address the two different cybermens and have them join and merge together, lost the C chest mark and go back to the something retro but kept the newer designs

  • @Azrick376 Fortunately, the updated Cybus ones won't have the "C" in the chest anymore for Series 6.

  • I wonder if you can TALK a cyberman to death...

  • upgraded, upgraded, upgraded

    epic ending

  • All right I will keep an eye out for Cybermen.

  • @randomdave30 Seen any yet?

  • @Remoniq No. Although I saw a Cyberman's head in a charity shop.... It was probably, not too much to worry about.

  • When I saw this on TV I actually cried because they were so scary imo

  • I know how it was defeated.

  • The new and old Cybermen should meet one another. It would be epic

  • It's funny the Ivasion is set before the Tenth Planet and yet he says it was the first.

  • At the end of "Tomb of the Cybermen" (whence the clip from 2:15 to 2:20), during the closing credits, one lone cybermat is seen scuttling across the Telosian ground, and there's an implied threat. And I've always been unclear; do the Cybermats have a role to play in the conversion of humanods to Cybermen, besides testing for the existance of emotion? Can the bite of a cybermat "infect" their victim with cyberness, or prime them for conversion?

  • @CapriUni accoarding 2 the adventure games. yes

  • How sexy lol D:

  • You know when I first heard of the cybermen I just thought what was the big deal? They look like plain robots to me. But then when I watched there episodes and because they say that they where once human I understand why people find them scary. And I do too now.

  • Seeing the old-style cybermen alongside film of the new improved design (inspired by Robocop?) raises a thought. Is the Doctor likely to run into the original cybermen again during his travels through time? Logically, he should.

There is no good reason why all his future encounters should be only with the new improved model!

  • @LordLardBag Since you clearly aren't a Doctor Who fan why are you watching this? In fact, why are you even posting here?

  • Give me a break, these pieces of garbage wouldn't stand a chance against the Borg >.>

  • @LordLardBag

The Borg are a pretty direct rip-off of the cybermen. Granted, Trek did them better than the classic series DW did, and arguably better than the new DW too, but even trekkies admit to their origins! If You watch the very first TNG episode where the Borg appear, there's a screen in the background in one scene with the names of the first 7 Doctors on it.

  • @Warppig

I've heard about that list, but have never spotted it. Do you know which episode it appears in?

  • @Spitalhatch 'Q-who'

  • @Warppig

Thanks - I must take a look at it.

    Live long and prosper!

  • Darleks>Cybermen

    oh gosh, that's saying that

    Nazis>Communists

  • @aquadrop25

So that means I prefer communists to nazis? o.o

  • @Adamdre Well, I think I do to, once you separate them from their Doctor Who counterparts (as you can tell I like the Daleks).

And did I seriously spell Daleks with an r ? *head-desk*

  • @aquadrop25 nd thats why they dont like each other

  • I love the Cybermen! So glad the old ones are back and not the Cybus Cybermen! :D

  • @LordOfTime1000 They are?

  • @aquadrop25 at least they were not genocidal only had a very flawed system and no freedom.

  • Comment removed

  • 1 person is a cybermen xD

  • why do the cybermen have the wierd tear drop things on their eyes?

  • @SPORE11165 its symbolism...its to show that they didn't want to become the thing they became...they are meant to make you feel sorry for them...cause they don't know what they are doing...

  • captin jaack should return in the 6th seies

  • @downsHG3 he has a spin off series torchwood and a new season of torchwood will be popping up this year. :3

  • @downsHG3 so should donnas grandpa

  • @downsHG3 They wanted him for the 7th episode, and he would have fit SOOO well in it, too, but he was already scheduled to be filming new episodes of Torchwood at the time.

  • I do love how the entire Doctor Who series manages to maintain (or, at least, justify the changes to) its canon stright from the 60's, right down to the hokey early robots of the first series

  • Just realised, Cybermen are possible.................... AAAAAAAAAAAAH!

    I DON'T WANNA DIE!!!!!

  • @DoctorSaqib u will be upgraded, or deleted.upgrade! UPGRADE!

  • Ever wonder where stardrek got the borg from?

  • @cptfreakout

    lol so true.

  • ive met a cyberman before, i just manged to get away

  • I think it's really cool how they reference Cybermen from the past series, as well as the current ones in the same canon. :D

  • @Greatsaiyakirby Oh. Thanks.

  • I agree with everyone that the Cybermen are scarier than the Daleks (even though the Daleks are awesome). Just imagine yourself face to face with them and hearing those footsteps coming after you. It would be scary as hell.

The most scary thing is with technology today we probably aren't that far off having real life Cybermen.

  • As scary as the cybermen are, I'd much rather them be real than the Daleks....

  • I know the antarctic one was The Tenth Planet, but which one had the "incident near Windsor"?

  • @Thenextworldwar I think it might be from the serial 'Silver Nemesis', the final appearance of the Cybermen in the classic series. :D

  • @Thenextworldwar See 'Silver Nemisis'. A hugely disliked though actually very good and very entertaining episode with Sylvestor Mcoy as the Doctor. In this classic ep the cybermen try to steal the 'Nemisis', a being made purely of silver. Anyone who comands the Nemisis gains ultimate power over all the Universe!!!

  • @MrCybershade What's that gigantic thing in my backyard? I NOW CONTROL THE UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Have a nice day. :-)

  • @MrCybershade

The reason most Whovians dislike Silver Nemesis so much is that it's exactly the same story as 'Rememberance of the Daleks', with cybermen instead.

  • @Warppig

Oh. Well that explains why I don't understand people's disdain for it as (despite being a huge Dr Who fan!!!) I have never seen Rememberence Of The Daleks! I know- which is terrible of me!!!! Lol!

  • I'm from America, yet Dr. Who is the best show ever watched.

  • Honestly, I'm Not Scraed of them but there one of my favourites.

  • The Cybermen are cool but the Daleks own them xD

  • One major flaw I've noticed about the cybermen, YOU CAN JUST PUSH THEM OVER AND THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO GET UP! They don't really have great moving joints so they won't be able to get up very easly!

  • @timelordthetrain Yes, and if you are chased by a Dalek...just run up some stairs. Hehehe...Unless it's wheelchair accessable...you'll be safe.

  • @Merlyn1978 they can fly

  • @Merlyn1978 yeah they tried that already and it didn't stop it at all. It just floated up the stairs.

  • @smithyblue123 I think they r different but both brilliant. I do want 2 c the orignals back as well though maybe a meet up. The Cyberking was cool, though I'm not sure about the Cybershades (good name though). Fundamentally though they are all the Cybermen, they've all got the same schtick

  • @chrisaira I hope that they meet up and share technology so u have a Cyber Empire spreding over 2 universes. I admire RTD's planning that some ppl won't like the new ones but that ok cos they rn't the orignals any way. I always wondered, what if Davros was upgraded and then created the Daleks as well so u would have a Dalek-Cybermen army

  • Ppl don't like thier stomping marches. WHY. Thats 1 of the scariest parts of them. The Cybermen r pschologically more scary than the Daleks bcos they were once human. I like the overall design of the new Cybermen and although they r weaker than the orignals, they r not nearly as weak as ppl think they r. the old cybermen were world conquerors these new ones r sort of in thier early development

  • Its scary to think Cyberman are scientifically plausible. We already invented prosthetic limbs and organs. Who knows how far we could go with cybernetics?

  • It would be cool if there was a cyberman vs cybusmen war, with the real mondas cybermen winning over these poor imitation cybusmen.

  • @chrisspiers Love or hate the new ones u have 2 admire the get out clause RTD put in2 the new ones. He wanted 2 do a version he liked so he said they were from an ALT Universe so the originals remain in tact. Overall I like the look of these new ones although they r not as pwrfl as the old ones. Although that could b bcos they haven't mastered space travel yet so they r in thier erly development

  • Cybermen are like a religion or a cult gone wild - all they can think about is converting people even if deaths are necessary

  • We've got the last word in Cyberman t-shirts. Check out the website and tell me I'm wrong...

  • The Mondas Cybermen were far better, scarier and superior in everyway to the awful Cybusmen.

The new series just took away everything that was awesome about the Cybermen, the fact that their bodies had slowly been converted into Cybernetic parts, their arms, legs and the fact that they were still part organic underneath, even had their original head under their helmets, the Cybusmen are just Brains in metal suits, just crap compared to the Mondas Cybermen.

    Bring back the Mondas Cybermen!

  • i love doctor who and the cybermen are cool but terrifying! I have had some nightmares about them i know it sounds crazy but it's true.maybe i should stop watching doctor who all night and just watch it all day...

  • upgraded *shiver*

  • also happend back with the 1st Doctor where they saw the 1st cyberman the 60s 70s 80s naughties.

  • they didn't mention cybermats or the cybermen's weakness to gold...perhaps the latter has been retconned out of existance.

  • If it has been rectconed, it's a good thing, too. That's the only gripe I had with the Cybermen from the classic series.

  • Now that's something I'd like to see in the show.

  • i wanna b a cyberman-er woman...ijust want 2 still have my emotions

  • Try that, and you'll probably go insane from the pain of the cyber conversion.

  • Not to mention what happened to the people converted into Cybus Cybermen when they discovered what had been done to them at the end of the ep "The Age of Steel"...

  • That was a cool episode. I like the cyber men. There's no magic or alien powers about them, it's all science.

  • Yeah, that's exactly why I like them, and also why I find them so creepy.

  • lol, thats the greatest thing about doctor who. Its the program that makes you feel like you have a reason to hide behind the sofa!

  • Not only that, but it's one of the few shows I've seen that takes the ordinary and the mundane and make them extraordinary and creepy. In fact, I have a friend who said he's never looked at shop window dummies the same way since seeing the Autons in "Rose"... :D

  • I pity your friend. lol

But i reckon you're right. It does make ordinary things become sinister and scary. And on the subject of autons, don't shoy your friend the second and third doctor's version of the autons... He'll never be able to use a plastic telephone again...

  • I wasn't planning to, anyway. I appreciate the warning, though. :D

  • Another reason why ur friend shouldn't see the old autons, he will never look at daffodils the same way again

  • @Abominatrix650 The autons need a comeback. They were in Rose but that was an intro e more than an Auton ep

  • I said that to my friend today when my work experience shift ended and we met up and my sister is like that whenever we visit a shopping centre

  • I was sayin that to my friend today after my shift of work experience and my sister always says that whenever we go into a shoppin centre.

  • Resistance is futile! You will be assimil-

    *Dies from EMP*

  • The Cybermen were conceived WAY before the Borg were thought up, buddy.

  • Anyone remember Kroton?

  • ugh. Man those cybermen are scary. Especially the early models. And cyber shades? A giant cyber....thing? If those were real we need to pray the doctor was too =P

  • ya,like i get the freacks when i see them, and people call daleks scary, daleks are cool but not scary.

  • @snappyguy928 The Cybershades r hit and miss with some ppl. It shows imagination that they wouldn't just upgrade humans and animals. they were a nice 1 off though. I think u r referring to the ...er hmm..CYBER KING!!!!

  • @snappyguy928 Yeah... Yikes...

  • @snappyguy928 thats kinda the thing with the cybermen isnt it, they could be real, they arent that impossible

  • @snappyguy928 Yeah... Or we'd be doomed....

  • @snappyguy928 And If you play the adventure games not only are there cyber men and shafdes but Cybermats and Cyber Slaves

  • @snappyguy928 haha wait your afraid of cybermen? whaa

  • @torax819 haha wait you commented on a comment which is 1 year old

  • @torax819 im afraid too

  • @snappyguy928 I hate replying to a year-old comment, but...

Frankly, anything with a record player pasted to it's crotch screaming at me like it swallowed a kazoo scares the hell out of me.

  • @snappyguy928 if they were real ppl would be screamin in the OH SWEET MERCY OUR BRAINS WILL BE TAKEN OUT AND PUT IN METAL HEADS kind of way

  • @snappyguy928

In minulmun time in this time and day I cyberman could be created in 5-10 years you just need something to help figure the impulses of the brain they have done it with monkeys replace its arm with a cyber arm that responded to neural impulses. It can done with enough money and sources...

  • i got a way to not get cybermen to bother you take one down and when youre not surounded by more slip on the armour but gut out all those curcuits

  • the next doctor

  • what episode was the giant cyberman in. just tell me, i have all of the episodes. all the way up to the first doctor

  • its one of the new epicodes

  • do u know what episode though?

  • yes new doctor who series 5 ep. 1 The Next Doctor and the epicode is on youtube if you cant find it anywhere else

  • Technically, "The Next Doctor" is episode 14 of Series 4. The specials that aired which make up David Tennant's last stories in Doctor Who are also considered part of Series 4.

  • I don't know which one scares me more, the Cybermen, or the Daleks! *trembles in fear*O_O;

  • Honestly, I think the Cybermen scare me more. It's the fact that they were once human, and that they want you to become like them just scares the crap outta me.

  • This. Also, listening to some of the more out-there futurists, the idea of a Cyberman is within the realm of at least somewhat plausible speculation.

  • That's not scary, that's just freakin' horrifying... :O

  • @GoldenTalesGeek I think the tear is the best bit cos it says so much by saying so little. U get the ethos that they're sad that they've bcom this metal monster

  • @227060 Yeah, I liked that minute detail, too. :)

  • @GoldenTalesGeek I think Cybermen r easier to create than Daleks. U need them humanoid, metal, mechanical and uniform. That gives u plenty of room to play around but u mest keep the handlbars + black tear drop eye. The Daleks u should change as little as poss whichis why so many ppl have a problem with these new Paradigm Daleks

  • @227060 I'm with you that the they shouldn't change the Cybermen too much. However, I quite like the new Paradigm Daleks. I especially like the new eye stalk. It looks a little bit creepier with that organic-looking eye poking through.. However, I think it's too soon to truly judge them for certain until we see them en masse. Who knows? They could be more badass than the Daleks from RTD's time on the show.

  • @GoldenTalesGeek That'll b a diffic feat. Granted, the eye stalk is really cool and I think I will reserve judgment. But from what I saw I didn't like them. i think its bcos they r too different a shape. Plus the episode itself was underwhelming and had BIG problems

  • @227060 New Daleks look cool and really colourful - The last thing you see before you die is a RAINBOW! LOL!

  • @Abominatrix650 I was thinking more along the lines of the Mighty Morphin Dalek Rangers

They could b good, the eye stalk is nice but I think they deviate too much from the old design. Yeah the new ones had alot of changes but they kept most of the old features.

  • @GoldenTalesGeek Well in that case, if the Cybermen scare you, here are 4 letters that will have you hysterically running in fear............ B-O-R-G "resistance... is futile".

  • @Yaminoken I was a long-time Star Trek fan before I crossed over to Doctor Who. So, I'm well-aware of -and had nightmares about the Borg- Thanks for the heads up, though.

  • @GoldenTalesGeek I had a nightmare about them once...

  • @GoldenTalesGeek Same here.... >o<
