If you remember my video, the snow was so bad the officials at UW-Madison closed down the campus and the largest snowball fight ever occurred. It was an absolute mess. I'm part of my local explorers post and I had to clear and throw downed trees into a wood chipper. Lots of hard work.
In this video you can't tell ,but it's snowing really hard. 12 inches fell that day 10 inches fell the previous Tuesday 2 days prior to that 8 inches fell. Some of these snow piles are eye level when driving.
Weather Season i think with all this snow on the ground will lead to widespread flooding and a late start to the Severe Weather Season because the warmer air
cools as it overrides the deep snowpack
and creates low clouds and fog delaying
heating needed for Severe Thunderstorms and Tornadoes
That happened in 1997 here. We got 22 inches of snow late 96 then January 4th the temp spiked to 68 deg for a 3 day stretch. The snow melted quickly and the Ohio river flooded. I believe it crested at 68 ft. Flood stage is 52 ft. It was a real mess.
@ BellyJae Actually I had the date wrong this was last month oops :D

Actually this was a very unusual series of storms. We don't usually get this much snow.
