@pcjudosambo Carlos was taught traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu, but Helio modified the techniques because the Japanese moves were reliant on strength and speed and size. Helio adapted his own style that relied on leverage which allowed smaller weaker individuals the opportunity to beat larger opponents. Whether you like the Gracie's or hate them, you can't deny that this is a beautiful moment. The passing of knowledge from grandfather to grandson, too bad Rockson passed away so early, who knows how much he would have accomplished. I hope to one day share a moment like this with my kids and grandchildren.

thanks a lot for the vid!!! I guess it s a footage from choke? do you have more of this? I heard that Rickson was ok to give the video of his "close doors" fight against Yuki Anjo for the choke movie. I think this kind of rush (Rockson against Helio, the sparrings sessions before the tournement, the fight against Anjo) should have been in an extended version of choke... too bad...
