  • Epic tribute to Frank Frazetta accomplished.

  • You left a legacy Frank. Of that you can rest assured and be proud. Today artists and story tellers are competing to follow in your footsteps.

Besides..."Did you want to live forever?"

Crom is happy you are now by his side.

    [slap him for me, k?]

  • so sad he died..my fave artist..his work is still amazing ...

  • Just seen your tribute to the late, GREAT Frank Frazetta, and I must say a job well done! - Thanks :)

  • my fave fantasy artist,,,he was amazing, a true master fantasy...farewell frank..!

  • best artist EVER God bless

  • No other musical piece would fitted so perfectly to this tribute.

Thank you Frank, your work is, and always will be a source of inspiration for those artists who walk the path of the warrior.

You teached us how to transform brushes and palette knives into swords axes and magic staffs.

    LONG LIFE TO KING FRAZETTA.

  • There in the heavens await him a harem of the Women, he understood to draw so womanly as no other can. This will be his paradise.

R.i.P Frank and thanks for so many inspiration.

  • His works will always inspire me

  • Ive never seen any other artist capture sush raw visceral power the way Frazetta did, his work is absolutely amazing. He put on canvas what Howard wrote on paper.

  • Good bye Frank.

    Sleep well.

    Dream well.

  • Rest in peace Frank Frazetta. You as a person, an artist, are inspiring to us all. I will cherish your work forever.

(btw nice pick for the song)

  • i wish there were more artists like him today. and hardly anyone outside of the fantasy and sci-fi circles knows who he is. i think work like this should be taught in school XO (but that's just me). RIP Mr. Frazetta

  • one of the greatest artist of all time

  • Rest in peace Frank you were an amazing artist. One of a kind. I was so glad to get to meet your beautiful wife at your museum it was a day I will always cherish forever.....fly on the wings of a dragon to the stars with her by your side.

  • Wow just read of his death now. He was probably the single most inspirational artist to me throughout my life. Learning anatomy, sculpting, airbrushing, painting and studying other art forms and artists and funny, I always come back to looking at Frank's work like the child in me once did. With wonder and a sense of awe. His paintings draw you in and tell a story without written words. The tragedy is that it feels like the end of an era.

  • RIP

  • Frazetta's artwork is unparalleled. Absolutely the best depictions of Conan. It's as if someone took a snapshot of my imagination and put it on paper.

  • A true great who inspired many artists ! Often dismissed by the elitist art community for being so popular with ordinary people. His artwork inspired movie makers as well as Illustrators and painters ! He'll be missed but his work lives on !

  • Rip Frank, Thank you very much!! you will never be forgotten!!!

  • He is among the Gods at Olympus now !

  • FRANK FRAZZETTA, JOHN BUSCEMA and ERNIE CHAN are the ONLY PEOPLE that should be allowed to draw conan..end of story...FRANK AND JOHN are up in heaven right now drawing MASTERPIECES ON THE CLOUDS! WE will miss you frank!

  • He was a real artist. R.I.P.

  • He was, is and will be A MASTER...RIP.

  • Gorgeous....

  • RIP

  • I cried. :)

  • @shampoovta

    so do i T.T

  • One of my all time favorite artists, I remember being knocked on my ass when I first saw his works like Death Dealer and his Conan covers back when I was a kid in the 1970s and had never even heard of his name, R.I.P. Mr Frazetta you were and will always be one of the all time greats.

  • One of my heroes since I was a child. I am truly saddened by his passing, but I will cherish his works forever. Be at peace Mr. Frazetta. You will be missed, but not forgotten.

  • tremendous loss to the global art world, the guy was a giant in his field.... they don't make em like Frazetta anymore...RIP

  • Most influential artist of our time.

  • Great Italian-Americans named Frank: Zappa, Sinatra, Frazetta. All legends.

  • a very big influence on my own art, for 37 years I have enjoyed Frank Frazetta's masterful use of light, dark & color. Many times I have referenced to a Frazetta painting or drawing to get myself out of an artistic jam.

What a great artist and what a wonderful life he had.

  • Frazetta was the man. Even though I never read sword and sorcery stuff, I remember how his work stood out so prominently from the others. He was amazing. It's sad this generation will never embrace his fine work. RIP, Frank Frazetta.

  • @yragcom1 This generation must be exposed to Frank's works. They can see them when they go to their local comic book shop. Dark Horse Comics is doing its best. But you're right, it is sad. This generation doesn't care about anything good like Vonnegut, Conan, Monty Python, etc. They don't even READ Tolkien! They watch the LOTR films instead!

  • Frank opened the door for many fantasy artists to a realm of infinite possibility. He was a Master.

  • Fantastic tribute!!!

  • THE Greatest Illustrator Ever To Walk The Planet!

    Rest in Peace Brother

  • Nice tribute thanks for the upload.

  • I didn't expect this. Big tributes will be coming. I have so many of his paintings on book covers in my collection. What's your favorite? I love the one with the viking with the winged helmet, and the one where Conan has his arm stretched out to slay a whole army of monsters.

  • Beautiful!

    Thank you

  • The Master of the genre. Often emulated, never surpassed. Take a pull on the hell horn for me Frank! R.I.P.

  • A modern Rembrandt. He will be missed.

  • i'm rly glad, u all like my way to say "Thank You Mr.Frazetta"! a true legend...

  • Great Video,

It is a painful loss, Frank Frazetta is a legend.

  • the only one , true inspiration a really ARTIST, thanks Frank Frazetta R.I.P

  • Thanks for the tribute! A heartfelt farewell to the master of Fantasy, Frank Frazetta. His Art legacy will live forever. It's indeed a sad day, yet he did live a long, prolific life, leaving thousands of masterpieces for the world to treasure, and that's something to celebrate

  • SO SAD!!

  • Frank Frazetta was one of my favorites artists. May he rest in peace.
