Actually, bots make the economy stable. If it weren't for 3000 bots botting lets say coal: the price would be around 3-4k/ore and no one would buy coal because the prices would be outrageous... Thank bots for making the economy cheaper and lowering armor/supplies so you guys with no lives can spend 200+ hours raising a skill from 1-99. Congratulations! Jagex sucks. There will always be a botting source. People botting dont wreck anything, it's the "legitimate" players who get sticks up their asses about the ethics of a fucking online RPG. Really? You feel like your level accomplishment is diminished because a botter has the same level? That's juvenile. It's your choice to use, or not use, the bots. There's no "unfair advantage" if it exists for everyone.

Jagex owns all the rights RuneScape, so when you use things like RSbot or EpicBot, you're using third-party software to power something that is not owned by them, that is why it's illegal. Jagex bums off these bot programmers to find security faults in their software, word of mouth says they gave JacMob a job at their Security office because of the work he has done at RSBot and RSBuddy.
