Umm I dont want to sound like a jerk but instead of releasing smoothly you plucked the string which means you jerked it back. Instead of relaxing your hand and letting the string slip out. I hope you can use that tip to be a better shooter.

Only 35lbs, i was shooting in the back garden so i didnt want to use anything that would puncture the fence at 60 feet.
