my stupid JG MK36c gearbox, which is just like this. the piston on mine doesn't always go back all the way whenever i fire it, so my gun jams alot. any idea on how to fix this?

I need help, i reassembled my gearbox but the piston doesn't pull back and there is a grinding noise. The tappet plate and nozzle move back and forth tho. Im stumped do you have any suggestions?

@dcidrumfi like what he included all the necessaries for upgrading your gun spring, tapet, cylinder, piston, air nozzle, spring guide and gears. We're lucky he did just that he is one of the only channels that does good in-depth gearbox take downs a re-assemblies.

actually, theres a trick for the anti-reversal latch, put a small, but powerful magnet on the gearbox shell right below where the antireversal latch is, and thatll make life a WHOLE lot easier and save you from throwing your gearbox at a wall xD

oh, by the way, here is a tip to keep the anti reversal latch in place. first, get a small piece of paper towel, (just big enough to cover the hole the anti reversal latch goes through) then, cover the hole with that peice of paper towel, then put the anti reversal latch in. this will make the latch have a very tight fit in the hole, making it harder for it to move.

The gearbox that came with my g36 was shit, anti-reversal latch popped out every time i put the other gearbox half on and the tappet plate didnt fit properly so it pulled on the half-gear so it was misaligned, had to use an extra hand to get the anti-reversal latch to fit in and push the half gear left so it would go into the bushing.

i shot like less than 100 rounds thru my echo 1 g36c after i upgraded it with my Guarder SP120 tune up kit from Evike before it stopped working. it keeps making a clicking noise when i pull the trigger like I'm low of battery power. when i opened up the gearbox i found that one of the "teeth" on the upper part of my spur gear is broken off. is the spur gear the problem? should i replace my old gears and see if it works?

Stop the gears from un-winding (or reversing) while they go under the stress of pulling back the spring.

it goes on top of the spring. ull see what it goes in on one side of the spring, where there is a peice of metal at 90 degrees on which u hook the "silver round thing"

Well i would get a silencer and run a longer tightbore into it. I have had luck with Madbull 6.03s. get a new hop up rubber, firefly and G&G make pretty good ones. Get some metal bushings, an M120 Spring and new shims. Maybe a now piston/piston head if you want some better compression.

You can get a M120 tune up kit and the tighbore/hop up.

Ok, good job. It is much easier to hole down the cylinder and use the screwdriver to put the spring and spring guide in, angling it downwards.

well i got it all fixed, thanx to the chicks who

mans the nearest air soft shop to where i live...

there is that nice slot i discovered, next to the spring area, where i had the chick hold down the spring with a screwdriver, while i secure the other gearbox side.

prior to that, i tied down the anti-return latch with a length of string. which i cut after putting it all together..

also i bought element bearing spring guide, that had no hole in it...

Dboys make bad AEGs and has horrible quality control. Ever dboys I have had has broken in the first month.

Onto your original question. Frankly I don't use too many Battery boxes other than the one for my LiPo. You might have to call up the retailer for advice so they can test to make sure which one fits.
