  • Alton, you look anorexic; not from Good Eats. Whatever you are doing, stop it and go the other way. This look is not healthy, and not inspiring to the rest of us.

  • mmmmmmmm

  • maybe

  • if u only knew how to spell THEN u could go places..probably not though

  • you're not sorry.

  • if you guys ever come to Asia and try Asian foods in Asia, you will not wanna have tasteless foods in America...

  • I agree, most of the food we have here is bland.

  • who said i don't like rice?

  • I'm sorry I have to disagree. Having been in the industry for over 35 years I know how long some of the markets hold there frozen turkeys. You need to understand the whole industry. They usually start to kill Turkeys in Aug. for the frozen birds and around late oct for the fresh. It is also the law in Cailf. that all poultry be shipped below 20 dregrees. This results in the fresh birds being close to frozen on the outside. Having my chose I will always buy fresh, they seem to have better flavor.

  • did you not listen he said only if you dont live by a turkey farm.... that means if you dont then not only is it going to be cheaper but acording to him also better.......and he also say that its probably not going to always taste better.

  • Everything stated "fresh" in America but in fact, nothing is fresh over there.

  • Not true.

  • Congrats

  • Congratulations. You are a (possibly European) elitist douchebag numbskull.

  • sorry, I'm Vietnamese

  • How the fuck does a Vietnamese person muster up the ego necessary to oppose ANYTHING done by Americans?

  • it's because American foods are damn YUCK

  • LOL @ kiminokami - That was the funniest comment ever!

  • @kiminokami i'm not vietnamese but america did fuck vietnam over back in the Vietnam War so i wouldnt blame if a vietnamese hated or hates America

  • Wow why Cali has to grow everything?I think not because my turkey came from florida and I live there so go figure though.Everywhere is different nevertheless I'm sure people would have a great thanksgiving reguardless of where you live...no pun intended I'm serious though really. And yeah for people who says turkey is dry-it's your fault you have to know how to cook a turkey if you want to taste it better enough. And Alton looks like he lost a little weight though..I'm just saying though.

  • MY NAME IS ALTON TOO!

  • Comment removed

  • @nexonpersonboyERR is your surname name towers???

  • "I live in Gerogia. We have sweet potatoes, onions, and peanuts. That's it."

Don't forget peaches, Alton! After all, what's Thanksgiving without dessert!? =3

  • i haven't seen a peach since i moved to georgia. weird, right?

  • I haven't seen an orange tree since I moved to Florida either :D Something's really wrong!

  • Oh my god, there's a peach/orange shortage! =O

  • You need to audition for the ridler in batman!

  • i like his watch

  • wow

  • Turkey is usually dry and plain. What are your thoughts on salmon for thanksgiving and how would you bring out the taste even more Alton?

  • I meant the tuna... that wasnt so very fresh. Big deal.

  • lol @ 1:08

  • shutup

  • Lol the Google Oven looks photoshoped :P

  • fraier

  • gata merge:))

  • Wow...he's in good shape, this Alton Brown :) Most FoodNetwork hosts over time seem to bloat (get fat).

  • Yes he is in good shape.

  • yeah i agree. when did he lost so much weight? he's a different person.

  • No offense, but I think he looks like he's on the verge of being a cancer patient. Agreed that he doesn't look overweight, but he doesn't look all that "healthy" to me, which sucks because I like the guy.

  • has the thought of "hes getting old" ever occurred to you people?

  • yeah, i've thought that before. but he's still got his flair so its okay

  • He had a heart attack a year or so ago and has lost weight since then. Probably made significant diet changes for his heart.

  • That's a lie, Alton never had a heart attack.

  • @thibaulthalpern part of the reason is probably that 1. he's not a restauranter and 2. he doesn't eat most of the food that good eats makes

  • This is cool :D

  • Alton is a fucking pimp.

  • Frozen is better. When a meat has been frozen, the ice formed has done one tenderizing step for you. And if you start it in the oven on its breast for the first couple hours you'll have the finest breast meat you've ever eaten.

  • the finest breast you've ever put your mouth in

  • @annikee59...When you start it in the oven on it's breast for the first couple hours...

I did this by accident one year and my sister looked in the oven and said it was upside down. I took it out and turned it around and it ended up being the juiciest and best tasting turkey I've ever had. It takes a bit longer to roast it but it's worth it.

  • I did some painting for Alton in his house about 8 years ago. But who really cares. Bring on good eats!

  • was it a good paining

  • A google oven?

    No...

  • LOL. I know...I was thinking the same thing :)

  • I think it's a shame that men made it a convention to 'give thanks' on ONE specific day, and have the crowds follow, when in fact you should give thanks each and every day in your life.

  • go bitch about christmas, easter, and the 4th of july while ur at it

  • it was always about eating. We are thankful that we CAN eat.

  • He needs to make more episodes of Good Eats.

  • @mik3ychan DAMN RIGHT!

  • Right on! I love that show!
