Please could somebody explain the technique to drive through slalom like this? Is it just countersteering and braking a bit? Do you need to play with body weight or gas?
Pretty sure it's classified as a scooter. I've got a 2001 model that my grandmother dropped off in my garage, just took it for a spin today, very nice ride and lots of fun. I'm not licensed for it so stuck around neighborhood streets and didn't go onto the highway but I think it can go upwards of 100mph if required. I only went up to 30 though. =P Still, great ride very comfortable.
Evidently you are the rider in the Silver Wing. ¿Did you tried the same trick in a Burgman 650? I'll appreciate your opinion because I want a maxiscooter.
The Burgman is fancier, but if you ride a lot you need to look at the maintenance schedule. The Burgman needs valve adjustments a lot more often. The Honda has a simpler soul, and needs less tinkering. I love mine!
Silver Wing rider is probably more experienced is all. The Impressive thing is that the rider was able to do this with out stalling out. Big Scooters have a habit of stalling out in slow manouvering.
Nice video, but the song is cheasy. Sound lke some japanese rock/pop/techno group on extacy. I defines the expression "bad taste" Give me water torture any day!!!
super!

I've ridden my friend's Skywave650(=Burgman650), but I've not tried the same trick.
Silverwing is a good bike, and Burgman650 is a good bike, too.
Therefore, I think Burgman650 can show high paformance like this video.

I am curious as to if that is the 400 or the 600? I have the 600 and want to try whipping my Honda like that!
baith7mile 2 years ago
This is the 600.
You can see the subtitle at 0:18.
It's not so difficult to ride a WING like this movie, if you practice.
You can do it.

I'm impressed! I want to be able to do that on my Burgman...is this a MSF advanced course?
scout58 3 years ago
It's not a MSF advanced course, but just a private riding training.
I hope you come to be able to manipulate burgman freely.
I sometimes go to ASTP in Twin Ring Motegi in Japan.

I am vexed, which is the better ride the Honda or Piaggio MP 500?

Piaggio MP 500?
I've never ridden it.
So, I regret that I can't tell you which is better.

Thank you for your advice & for sparing your time.
I'll refer to it of the next video making.

I think that is the worst song I have ever heard - my god, my ears.
testacorsa150 3 years ago
Thank you for your precious opinion.
May I have your advice of how this song is wrong?,
melody? words?(Which part?) or something else?
By the way,
I can hear this melody, but I don't know what this song says.
tomonasu 3 years ago
They're just not used to it. Don't worry.
Very nice video, by the way. Silver Wing is a BEAUTIFUL piece of machinery!
