  • omg OHLINS arms golden series suspension!:P fantastic skill!!!

  • the music is fantastic !!!! the story is that all the different style of wing weng yong chun tsun just slow down the level of the ART just like more tecnique means less quality and even missing the real part "DINAMIC" and the only master i found teaching a real street and walkin art is Master Marco Mattioni that cames always from two pioneers of wt Milan Prosenica , and Nick Smart they finished the old LT system when nobody knows it and K.K was not still a white T-shirt check it out

  • What I want to see is Sergio vs Jin Young. :D

  • MIT DIR WÜRDE AUCH GERNE MAL CHI SAO TRAINIEREN SERGIO :) SIEHT ECHT COOL AUS MEIN FREUND GILBERT HAT GESAGT DAS DU ES DRAUF HAST :) FINDE ICH AUCH!!!!

  • Master Paul got p*wned by a floppy squid sort of buffoon!

  • I don't know what did he do he looks like he got the center

  • Master Paul Hawkes was like '' im gonna get you sifu, i'll win chi sau next time ''

  • Not real fighting..so it doesnt matter.

  • I'm impressed by the skills of Sifu Sergio in this video, making Sifu Hawkes look bad. But I've been told there's two kind of men: the ones that can rise by themselves and the ones that needs to put others down to look good... If it's not the case, then I'm mistaking. If so why don't u go humiliating people like you did here (with probably chosen parts with Sifu Hawkes) let say in UFC or in any real fighting event? I'd like to have a feedback on how you think you 'll will rank in real fight.

  • @kungfucritic Thank for your point of view, but lets not overlook WingChun is a martial art, "martial" means related, suited, inclined to war, martial arts are designed for warrior to fight from the start to the end. Even if one can practice as a hobby, as a science or fitness, its still martial. So we can assume both point are relevant: he s not teaching cooking or serving tea. I agree with you: that is only a practicing video but please light up about the very purpose of this practice.

  • @kungfucritic I totally agree with you on this two last points, there is as much difference between street-fight and cage fighting that there is between racing on a track with rules and racing on open road with anything else limitless... and you're absolutely right that most martial artist doesn't have a clue on it for a simple reason: they're not warriors in martial genuine sense, just "fitness bud" for 99% of them... Still if I agree with you, I just wanted to have his thought on this point.

  • @recan888

    Hawkes it's not Hawkins Cheung

  • @iamagenericbadass You re right about UFC, still that's actually one of the closest to real fight anyone can get in a legal event according to mix style, isn't it? If every MA having move banned in UFC withdraw from it they'll play chest on the ring...

So let's get real, biggest trouble in UFC is private interest bcoz of popularity. Banned moves tend to make everybody equal: They are banned for the opponent as well.

Why? Picture army close combat/Krav maga moves allowed in one event....MGBY.

  • @recan888 agree, impressive skill. but footage like these should probably be kept private?

  • @wittenhau Probably or at least it deserves a better description of the context.

  • @suissecarnifex Thank you for pointing what everybody's knowing already. Still, I know a cheap humiliation when I see one.

I think you're getting it but you're obviously overlooking the point:

Since it's not fighting, there is not point to push people around that far.

To show superior skills you don't need to go that far, I might be wrong but that's my point of view.

Then, if "one" is so good, why not taking a step further in a real fight.full stop.

Try understanding this concept. Bless you.

  • @suissecarnifex Having a different point of view is OK since we talk respectfully.

But just watch the video: At one point he sent him on the wooden dummy, I guess if Hawkes didn't get hurt on this one, he can only thank himself.

Just tell uswhat is "demonstrated" when you push people this far doing Chi Sao, as you said, and on this anyone agree: it's not fighting. So here's my question:

"Since it's not fighting what is the point of applying such a force in a technical drill?"

  • @recan888

Ok you got a point here. It's not necessary to to apply any force in chi sao. Your are right. But since his not hurting him its not that grave for me.

  • @recan888 Because Chi Sau is not real fighting. Just because one can have some skill in chi sau doesn't mean it will translate in a real fight. Second, in Chi sau there are no rules. In mma there are rules, and a single rule will limit the true flow of a fight. He would not honestly be able to express himself in the situation being presented to him at the time.

  • @2112chewie Yep: totally agree with your comment.

  • @recan888

he's not Hawkins Cheung.. he's just a student with a similar name :D

i though i could see the real hawkins in action too bad... :(

  • The amount of lines not taken... the sloppy wu saus... the lack of structure, so many problems here.

  • EMIN is a different world , it needs 3 or 4 seconds and then the end!!!!!

  • that guy in yellow looks like Tom Green, only more lethal

  • "master" hawkes???????????

  • What a joke. Leant boxing or something. forget this crap.

  • @trollbl The only joke is people like you who end up watching Wing Chun videos when trying to view boxing one ! Your no doubt very young, time would probably be better spent back at school in an English class.

  • @kungfucritic wrong, when you understand what a real street fight is like, this is so far from it, the small movement's go out the window, you more likely to swing than to follow the wt rules, infact you would look more like a boxer throwing punches than wt stuff. If any one needs to wake up it's you. You have been taken in by the cult wt stuff. it's been proven time and time again, it does not work. yes for calming, and spirit, yes, but for real fight? NO.

  • @trollbl Like i said you need to go back to school and learn to read and spell ! Is there anywhere in my reply to you that advocates WC as a good street fighting system ? This seems to be your problem, you seem to be lost ! First you cant seem to find your boxing vids on Youtube and now you are countering something i never said or even implied. Clearly all the punches to your head from boxing has effected your comprehension and concentration, maybe you should retire before it gets any worse !

  • to be honest i think the guy in the red is just playing the dummy. Don't understand why people always bow down to a "masters" superior skills. He should have had a go at him, tried to hit back. To many clips like this are appearing. Lets see someone have a go.... Maybe they do but just don't make the final cut :p

  • @Jebus2Jebus Right or wrong traditionally respect is always given to your Sifu, unless you are requested to 'resist' you dont normally unless you are thinking of changing schools ! Kung fu is about respect as much as it about fighting.

  • @kungfucritic respect ??? it's more of an insult in my book as it should be to Sergio, as to say he's not good enough to block paul??... that all been said may paul isn't that good therefore remove the master tag. I respect my sifu by TRYING to hit him and he respects me even more for being true, Nobody respects the office kiss ass do they??? Prime example is Simon cowell he tells the hard truth and people respect him more for it....

  • @Jebus2Jebus True, i also ask & expect the same from my students (though i dont expect them to take my head off, afterall i am a lot older than my students !), but we dont know the context of this training session. If it was to demonstrate certain techniques then even cage mma students would be compliant, but if it was a sparring session then that would be different. I Guess we can also ask Paul to clarrify as i'm sure he is reading all this and either burying his head or having a good chuckle

  • @kungfucritic I agree that it should be controlled strikes. But it just looks like paul is in awe of sergio. If it's just to show techniques, then it's shouldn't matter what paul does sergio should still be able to work his way through it(like BJJ GUYS). I mean no offence to these two guys, but too often you see Emin, Sergio, Kernspecht etc just showing off their "skills" for financial gain. But you never ever see anyone attacking back it's always one sided.

  • This clip does Master Hawkes no justice at all. Master Hawkes is an exceptional martial artist. Very strong, technically superb. I would love to see the same clip again with Master Hawkes allowed to attack.

  • @sihingsteve1 I quite agree, but it does beg the question why Paul calls himself a 'Master'. Herein lies the problem that sifus (which is what he really is) for financial or ego reasons feel a need to promote themselves to a 'superior' level. Also it ironic that the title is saying how a Sifu can control a 'Master' and its not Sergio's fault as it wasn't him who promoted Paul to Master level ! Paul's lucky he hadn't promoted himself to Grandmaster as this clip would look even more ridiculous

  • @kungfucritic Yes a very valid point which I had not really thought about. Unfortunately we are all in the same situation where our titles and qualifications are only relevant within our particular association. All the more important therefore that such titles are only given by those who themselves have true knowledge, understanding and above all physical ability in their particular style. I am very fortunate to have these traits in both my Sifu's and my Master which gives me great confidence.

  • @sihingsteve1 In which case Paul should relinquish his 'Master' title as all this clip implies to the world is that whatever system or lineage of Wing Chun he used to represent is inferior to whatever style of WC Sergio is teaching ! Which is probably why he joined Sergio in the first place and sadly as a result was made to look like a complete beginner in this clip. Anyway lets not take this clip too serious as it entertained which is what all good clips are all about !

  • @kungfucritic Indeed. It is all too easy to become too involved with some of the clips on this site. Time is much better spent training but for those of us hooked on WingChun, sitting in the office at work during quiet times, the temptation to get our "fix" often means scanning the tube for clips. Perhaps I should see if the boss would mind having a wooden man in the office instead!!!

  • This clip does Master Hawkes no justice at all. Master Hawkes is an exceptional martial artist. Very strong, technically superb. I would love to see the same clip again with Master Hawkes allowed to attack.

  • sifu sergio did a donnie yen move on him :D (from ip man)

  • Why nobody want to tell the name of the song???

    ?

  • Wow,

What is the name of the song, actually?

  • I had a seminar with this guy once. He punched me like 343435 times in 1 second.

  • whats the name of this beat...by the way good control...

  • 2 gays having fun

  • @Arkani285 Actually I personally know Sifu Paul and as a Master I can tell you that he is not homosexual.

  • does hands are to sticky ..

  • WATS THE TITLE FOR THE SONG????

  • Id love to see a chi sau session Sifu Sergio and Sifu Emin :)

  • A mi tambien!

  • @Limey9003 yeah it would be an epic chi sao :)))

  • I'd loooooooooooooooooove to see that.

  • Chasing Arms...bah

  • @YangShengVT What's wrong with chasing hands ? If one didn't chase the hands at all then it wouldn't be chi sau, it would be lut sau chong choi. Taking position is useless if you dont have control of your opponents bridges.

  • @kungfucritic

Whats wrong with chasing Arms? Its against what you (should) learn in WingChun. The pressure goes forward to the Core and the homezone. You try to close your homezone and core. Simultaneously you try to hit your oponent. If youre chasing arms, the force goes anywhere but where it belongs. Its all about cutting the Attacks and direct counters.

  • @YangShengVT I dont disagree but that is a Novice way to look at it. Just because there is a space doesn't mean you should rush in to occupy it. Simultaneous striking outside of class drills doesn't normally work unless you know what's coming and you are ahead in timing.

  • @YangShengVT Seeing as Sifu Sergio is getting strikes in with almost every move, how can he be chasing arms?

  • Il chi sao fatto così non serve ad una emerita mazza....

  • Why is a 'Master' being slapped around by a 'Sifu' ? Too many self proclaim masters these days ! Master of what ???

  • @kungfucritic absolutly right

  • @kungfucritic Used to be known as Sifu Paul Hawkes and was a national coordinator of NWTO - GB with Sifu Andrew Cameron. I didnt realise he was this outclassed by Sifu Sergio. Anyway, it's good to take a battering from someone more skillful than you, a good way to learn i feel :P

  • @Limey9003 Not really sure Paul was really outclass as most students out of respect do allow their Sifu to attack them, afterall its a lesson and you wouldn't be shown much if you hit back. I'm sure the vid would look a little different if Sergio had told Paul to give him his best response. I only had a dig at Paul cos he calls himself Master, which should represent the highest level of skill and understanding of his art.

  • very very very good

  • É o melhor...

  • @bodybuidinbl , you do not need to be a 'follower' of anyone, use a little common sense and see this is far from 'real'. Ask yourself what is chi sau drill for ? Ask yourself why in professional fighting you never see this rubbish. If you want proof of how drilling chi sau in the above fashion is no use then get along to a mma or boxing club and try & get any of that to work! Sergio like LT & manyothers realised lot of money to be made padding/stretching out system with bolloX.

  • WATS THE TITLE FOR THE SONG????

  • nice music! whats the title fo the song?

  • Very good. Until you touch hands with this guy don't be negative. There is so much bad wing chun out there and Sifu Sergio is one of only a few people teaching the real Leung Ting WCK.

  • song?

  • @bordereye , your idea of chi sau is much different to mine. You say why cant you force attack? this is chi sau not sparring. IT is a drill to develop attributes which will enhance your ability to flow with structure. Not follow the hands and slap/chop eachother constantly. A complete beginner could be taught how to speed punch or sucker punch their chi sau partner in 2 minutes. Even a so called master will get hit ,its easy. Try doing same in sparring not so easy since no initial contact.!

  • This dude is really lame

  • Not good, typical wing tsun style chi sau, no idea of elbow use. Neither of them are masters ,paul constantly leaves elbows floating around and thus cannot control center, sergio forces attacks through rather than wait for oppotunities. Lot of that rubbish could never be used in fighting so why train like that in chisau ?

  • @vtfist Since when you cannot "force" an attack in Wing Chun? Martial arts need to be flexible to be effective. You can wait for an opportunity but also take the initiative if you feel your opponent won't be able to defend. Wing Chun is based on Yin and Yang, strong and weak, active and passive. Those who always force an attack will be defeated. Those who always wait for an opportunity will be defeated too.

  • @vtfist you must be a follower of wongs wing chun or scamuel gwoks?? Stop sucking on there dicks and see that this chi sao is for real. none of the crap wong teaches or scamuel gwok shit. Totally reality of chi sao.

  • @vtfist why wait for a attack, if your opponents elbows are floating, use a bit of force to get through, chi-sau is also an attacking style not a defensive style.

  • Lap at 0:30 was strange...

  • Beautiful, Master Paul played a neat chi sao too

  • This chisao is very good...but in this video only Sifu Sergio is a real Master of wing chun..

  • very good channel this.

  • wow this is greatt! comment my videos please

  • Nice!

  • Sifu Sergio is better skilled in Wing Tjun then Master Paul and Sifu Sergio is the one holding back, thats all.

They are both great so thank you both for this very nice video!

  • to' much rigid scatman fitness wing chun

He is powerfull and good but there Are thing no good for me. only my opinion

  • master paul was great but he wasn't the aggressor in chi-sau. Sifu Sergio did wonderful job of being relaxed and aggressive, maybe Master Paul was holding back lol but i doubt it though.

  • davvero impressionante....tanti soldi spesi per il mondo e questo e' il risultato....MEDIOCRE !

  • impressive speed and control! Without control things could go wrong XD

  • @eaglespear1 i was just thinking the same thing. Very fast but very accurate and careful not to really hit the other guy hard. I saw that elbow move and it was cool to see the speed without nailing Paul in the face~ :P

  • awesome!! the best is that is not sport, just pure martial art

  • wonderful use of the thumbs. great humble session.

  • Very nice......Thanks for posting

  • Great form & hand trapping! Can't wait to start training Sifu

  • how is he a master?

  • @TheSenseofTouch Meet him and find out, looks can be deceiving. I would assume someone who claims to know Wing Chun would already understand that. Sifu Sergio is very very good, its very hard to stop his attacks, let alone feel them before he hits you.

  • @TheSenseofTouch Master Hawkes is an excellent exponent of WingChun and worthy of his title. It is just that GM Sergio is at another level! I have first had experience of both.

  • @tomcat0069 sifu sergio is another level between his students : STOP !

  • he has great hip movement!! and elbow power!!!

  • Very Nice ! Thanks for sharing .

  • Coolness!

  • 100% SKILL!!!!

  • my new nickname for sifu sergio "shadow-fist" ;)

    it´s a pleasure to watch!!!

    wish u good times

  • Niiiiiceeeee!

  • Very fast and swift attacks, skills have paid off

  • cool !!
