All I do is use a keychain butane lighter to melt the plastic hinges and use a pair of pliers from the store's tool section to remove the metal pins on the on the two plastic hinges. It smells a little bit but if the store is big enough it won't be noticeable.It's also a lot more quiet method.

Lol take game, go to hardware, get a cold chisel, put somethings on the ground around you, one quick insert and pry will get the case open. As soon as that happens, hide it, and pretend to pick the shit up that you "dropped". Got battlefield 3 this way. Also, remember to take pics or just take any activation keys.

They didn't remove it from my son's DSi game, and his mom gave it to me and asked if I could get into it. Just shift the game to the far side of it and the end where the black is there are slots. Put the screwdriver in the slot and hit a couple times with the hammer...do it for all three and them just pry it open. I had it open in less than 30 seconds. Your way seems to be safer though.
