  • Too bad the F-15's stole all the air-to-air action.

  • I think people tend to over-react to war the horror of war these days. War is human nature. It's what we do. From the beginning of time, man has killed man. Whether it's for land, money, politics, religon, oil, freedom, what have you. But, it is cool seeing America kick ass!!

  • if U.S war planes hadent been use in this 6 week air 2 ground attack campaing how du u think the U.S. army & marines would end up like if they went head 2 head against iraqui forces or what would be the outcome?

  • fucked up thinking and law in every one one us

  • Good documentary, F-16 sure has become a "milestone" in fighter jet history, however I feel disgusted that they refer to the civilian convoy from basra as a "retreating iraqi army", when it today is clear and proven that it was a massacre of tens of thousands of unarmed civilian refugees.

  • pleas friends tell who is supirior between f16 b/52 or mig 29 by avionics differences

  • Oh yeah, saving kuwait. Between the iran-iraq war, the gulf war and the current one its hard to remember sometimes. ;o

  • They should mass produce F-16, F-22, F/A-18, and the F-15C.

  • This is more of a iraq war documentary than f16.

  • the road to basra bombing was a job well done, you don't let the enemy retreat regroup and attack you again, you destroy him before he destroys you. that is the realty of war

  • when Iraq withdrew from kuwait then USA fighters came bombing them whats point of that they withdrew that? was very stupid by the Americans. every body knows that little shit kuwait belongs too Iraq look at the map look what stupid british done THERE DUM AS FUCK WTF

  • the human race is its own fucking enemy!! what the fuck happend!?!?!?!

  • bombing life :DD

  • the relentless bombing of the road to Basra and also the Highway of Death, was in my opinion evil and criminal.

they boxed the retreating iraqi army in as well as civilians trying to flee the war zone on the road, literally creating a massive traffic jam then began bombing them relentlessly for 10 hours with obviously more advanced weaponry, rendering the army defenseless, they cowardly murdered virtually everyone trying to flee alive.

you can read about it online of course.

  • @liveguns A war should never be fought fairly.

  • @liveguns It was a job well done, my friend. You don't allow your enemies to regroup and fight again. And lastly, are you a liberal...?

  • @Tyco200 I'm anti-liberal and anti-immigration. I'm no liberal. I was in a bad mood that day i guess, the f-16 is on of my favs.

On another note, the mainstream conservative stance today is pitiful and would be considered far left only 30 years ago. Good day to you sir. One last thing, what made the Iraqi's your enemies ? Have you ever met an Iraqi in your life ?

  • @liveguns but the US did it for a reason..The Vietnam war made them look stupid..and so the world started to underestimate America and start wars after cold war..Americans used the war as an example of what might happen in unwise agressions..Sadham Hussain was a good man..but he made a stupid stupid decition..he didn't think of what US might do. The Aircrafts have overwhelming power in good weather conditions and good pilot. Americans have good pilots but capitalists take side of assholes.

  • limit loss of life! HA thats a hoot!

  • Destroy Israeli enemies, demolish your economy with all the wars, crawl in the asses of Jews like Obama, mother Jewish, father killed for beeing opposes to the Zionist goals, all the maniacs in the Aipac, the international banking-jewdom.

Yeah you are right on track for your destruction!

  • How many minutes would it take a F-16 Fighting Falcon to get from America to Iraq????

  • @kerkukeee many hours.

  • Is the F16 compatible with the aircraft carriers , i mean can you launch and land a F16 from a carrier ?

  • They Navy has a hand for of f-16n's and even they can't land on a carrier, they're too weak, they'd get ripped apart on a landing. They almost made an F/A-18L(land bused) to compete with the f-16 in forgein sales but the companies got into legal bitching.

  • Way to Fight USAF.... Talk about skills.... AWESOME!!!!!!

  • The Americans won't have it the way they did back in Vietnam when the war got bogged down to 8 years.. The American public just got disgusted over it in the long run. That's just the Air Force's way of saying that "We're not gonna stand around here and wait for the REMF's to pick us a target. We're gonna act on it and have it done with as quickly as possible." The end result? Unconditional victory.

  • You can't even compare the two conflicts. Vietnam was characterized by asymmetrical warfare while Desert Storm was conventional armies. That's why Desert Storm was so "easy." Why do you think it took so long to fight in Iraq the second time around, or in Afghanistan currently?

  • Conventional fighting ends where guerrilla fighting begins. For a limited-scale war such as Desert Shield/Desert Storm the Air Force did achieve their objective and sent the Republican Guard and regular military forces scattering all over the TO. What I meant to compare was the decision-making tactics that the USAF employed back in Vietnam and the one during Shield/Storm. In 'Nam it was the politicos who chose the targets while in the '91 Gulf War the brass had a more freer hand..

  • Iraq being a muslim nation as you describe, although it was probably the most secular in the arab world, was not attacked because of its religion. Rather, Iraq did not follow UN rules on invading other countries. You can't forcefully take over another country and not expect to have war declared on you

  • @SpiroHrvoje1989 Actually they attacked them because they were afraid Saudi Arabia would be next...why does that matter?..their oil production capabilities...don't kid yourself it was for pure reasons.

  • @johnnydorris then why didn't they stay like they did now?

  • @SpiroHrvoje1989 Well there was no reason..Iraq's Military was dismantled so they had no reason to think Saddam would not crumble to their demands. That was the plan...Saddam was a very powerful tool in the middle east if they could get him to tow the line.Let;s not forget Saddam was trained and armed by the CIA,they had invested a lot in the man...Just Youtube some financial hitman documentaries and you can see the levels of corruption during that and many other American military campaigns.

  • @johnnydorris I guess that strategy ultimately failed. Isn't it crazy how before the first gulf war, Iraq had the #5 best airforce in the world? then it went kaput right after the US was done with them.

  • if the USAF really was to use exessive force they would kill millions of people, EASILY.

  • @wizzzer1337

    how...by carpet bombing cities!?

killing "millions" aint that easy...think b4 u write!

oh and before people start flaming me, don´t get me wrong, working on joyning the royal marines asap myself

  • @daveslow84 killing millions is actually more easy than you think, if you take the US air force which includes hundreds of bombers, with its thousands of fighter bombers all fittet with cluster bombs.. they could do it. they can absolutely reach a million or more casualties. lets than a tenth of that firepower was used in WWII.

but if course it would be an abcene show of force... something like what anti american faggots are imagining the US does.

  • @wizzzer1337

    hmmmm you win ;)

just meant it would´nt be THAT easy, but in terms of having enough firepower...easy...like you said, ww2 they used a hell of a lot less steel! killing millions? the americans? sounds more like the ruskies :D death toll in afghanistan because of the soviets is up to 2 million... now it´s "only" 15-30 thousand (civilians)

  • @wizzzer1337 okkkkk they wouldn't be able to not with other countries looking over their shoulders...

  • Thanx for posting :D

  • I didn't know there was such a thing as excessive force in war. Aren't they supposed to kill the enemy? That's why diplomats try to avoid war.

  • @5401nick the only ones avoiding war are dead or dieing...

  • The Iraqi Army were retreating with their weapons, which gave them the possibility to regroup and mount a counterattack. As long as they were retreating with their weapons, they are still a threat. As for the very thought of "excessive force" when it comes to war, that's absurd. General Horner said it best when he said that war is extreme violence.
