It doesn't get much better Matthew! As a blues man myself I can well appreciate just how impressive that is - hats off to you. The expression you inject is something else, lovely stuff - a performance that ranks with some of the greats in my view. What is the tune? An old classic or one of your own compositions? Absolutely superb in all elements; technique, expression,rhythm. If this pianist is not invited to the music festivals @ Monreuax, Spoleto,and New Orleans, there is no hope for other young brilliant musicians.(By which I mean those who play and/or compose in tradiotional forms rather than pop.)This may sound exaggerated,but I speak as a classical pianist,former choir girl,and daughter of a jazz musician.Thanks for showing us how this type of music should be played!
