haha! Typrwriters are never used anymore! in fact, most of the processing is done on the computer! Many times, the stamps aren't even used to put the date on the book! *sigh* saddness. it was MUCH cooler :(

You obviously missed the whole point in the video. They were using all the stereotypes associated with librarians, e.g the glasses, the plain, formal clothes, the typewriter and the dull dark setting. Using this in conjunction with them killing someone (obviously a VERY unusual thing for a mild-mannered librarian to do) had effect because it was so out of the ordinary. If they wore modern clothes and used computers instead of typewriters etc the whole effect of the vid would be lost.

let me clarify-around 40+ the generation shifts and some might be inclined in that range to not like it-and some love it-i am right there with you and love it too. kinda like how some folks my age are in the pre-punk era and yet i am totally from the punk scene. generational shifts ar efunny that way.
