My god, what a couple of talentless hacks it took to make this game. They were making better quality games than this thirty years ago. I know it's only a dollar, but try being a bit more creative and don't just download a game-maker and throw a few boxes on a screen and pass it off as something worth money. I can find better quality flash/browser games. The controls especially are horrendous; could they be any more simplistic? This should be a free browser game, it's horrible.

@youbetterbelievehah You must be kidding. This game is extremely polished with tight controls (after the update), and it explores the simple but deep play mechanics to its fullest. Get past the first few levels and you start to see the variation and brilliance of the design. Not to mention it has very nice looking pixel art. It's the best game I've played on XBL Indie Games, by far. Hidden gem.

Where is hardcore mode with 3-5 lives only per play! That was what gaming was back in the golden days. 1000 lives is too many to be classed as true retro. :-P

@F4O I just finished the games, and I was down at below 400 lives when beating the boss, so 1000 lives isn't that much of an exaggeration. :) Super cool game, by the way. Best on XBLA Indie Games by far.
