I don't think I'm colour blind but when you get invited to play in a party both the teams names are red, only the enemys are abit darker so that's confusing and it's annoying when you're firing at a team mate and wondering why the hell they're not dying. =(

If the only benefit of this assist mode is that the names above players are different then there is NO POINT. I am colour deficient and have a great trouble in playing CoD. not because I can't read names, I never play hardcore so that doesn't matter! what is the issue however I'd just the general palette that CoD games have, so unless the mode transforms the surroundings and enemies themselves to be as luxuriously colourful like in Ratchet and Clank, instead of the horrible indistinguishable mu

While staying the same in a general way is good, such as an FPS staying an FPS (an example is how Red Faction went from a FPS to a 3rd person Grand theft Auto clone) I feel a franchise in regards to video games needs to evolve. I have a feeling that MW3 will be a 3 perked, class based system with levels like the old ones. While you may reply with dont fix what aint broken, theres a difference between fixing and evolving.

@Wickedshrapnel Yeah, it's in the "Player Name" section of the options. There should be options to show full name, emblem, or alternate color scheme. Something like that. It changes friendly player's names blue and hostiles orange. It also changes the emblems on the UAV (for helicopters, etc) to blue and orange. I play with the option on even though I'm not colorblind, just because I like blue and orange better, haha.

They will add some new features and fix some problems people complain about but the game at its core is how it is going to be so if you don't like how it plays now you never will. They would be crazy to make the most popular shooter on the planet drastically different than the previous titles.
