Jaye P is a wonderful sport for allowing herself to be written as The Bitch... especially after the previous episode with the equally delightful but admittedly saccharine Julie Andrews. These writers really knew their audience, maintaining such a great balance between sweet moments and... erm... explosives.
Oh wow..... I remember this episode and the best part was hearing Jaye P. Morgan sing Old black magic. As a kid I didnt have a clue what she was talking about I just liked the beat.... I had to be about 6 years old but I never forgot that song! I LOVE IT!!
I remember when I was a child around 9, and I loved her for some reason. Too bad the web didnt exist back then. I remember this episode and wishing there was a way to tape tv shows lmao!
What a wonderful person, so full of life, energy, and feeling. I wonder what she is doing now. I remember her so well from the Gong Show. Best wishes, Jaye P. ! A fan from Pittsburgh, PA
Hehe, Jaye P. may have argued a lot, but you can tell she really enjoyed the show. She laughs after the the opening number and mimics the classic Muppet nod.
Well you certainly have a wide range of taste in women. Those 3 women have absolutely no physical attributes in common - well, except they're all white, lol.
That was really great! BTW, does anyone know the episode of the Muppet Show where the guest star sings this song that has a part that goes "Let's go! On with the show!"?
Reply to BeatlesAmiYumi: That would probably be Ethel Merman; she sang a medley of show tunes that included "There's No Business Like Show Business," a song that she's sort of famous for.
Hearing Jaye P sing that soulful "That Old Black Magic" is a treat and it would be great to see her stellar work from the Merv Griffin Show...Bravo JP!!!
Thank you so much for uploading this. This is one of their best episodes. Did anyone notice how the presidnetial seal was swinging during Sam's speach?

Dr. Teeth had puppet hands here instead of gloves.

Bit of trivia; the puppet used for Bobby Benson had been used for Wayne. I guess they preferred BB over Wayne, huh?
