  • I'm so glad that you admit to loving weaves along with your natural hair! I have to admit, after watching so many other videos on YT, I felt a little convicted b/c I don't always wear my natural hair. But I wouldn't be myself if I didn't change it up on a regular basis and wear my beloved lacefronts!! :-) Thank you for documenting your journey and being so candid. I look forward to future vids!

  • Nice :D Don't worry about the coils fail you'll probably get through with it a next time :D i would love to see how style your hair on a daily basis!

  • im not natural, but honestly u r so gorgeous with ur hair short.u look so uunique

  • Love your earrings, I have never heard of them. I will try them, thanks for the info love

  • dang those earrings look HEAVY

  • I love your freaking earrings!!!! Their almost bigger than your head!!!! Love them!

  • your beautiful!

  • Do africans and african americans have the same hair growth patterns? Because I'm African and I really want to big chop. My hair is down to my shoulders but it is very unhealthy and brittle. But i'm not sure it'll grow back. my mom cut of her year over 10 years ago and its barely grown. Maybe she just didn't take care of it. But I dont wanna take the risk and lose my hair.

  • My favorite orgnanic shampoo and conditiioner is the Jason Biotin, and my favorite shampoo and conditioner that's not organic is the profective mega growth stimulating shampoo and detangling conditioner. My FAV deep conditioner is also from that line, its the mega growth deep conditioner! I Love your channels!

  • where did you buy your earrings? i want them!!!!

  • @Dadou4u divadezignz(dot)net

  • My fav shampoo & conditioner is Yes to carrots or yes to cucumbers it's organic! I love it! And I also love cantu leave in conditioner

  • You look beautiful!

  • @tonyajuanise thank you!

  • Once you completely get rid of all you relaxed ends the curly style come out better. Well, from my own experience

  • I'm loving your natural hair! i can't really think of any products.. I know when i first went natural detangling was a breeze but the farther i got, the harder it got. I recommend Tangle Teezer brushes if you don't already have one. Those things make detangling wet hair, heaven. Lol.

  • i love you're channel so far i just had to sub

  • LOve The Earrings. Where are they From?

  • I just did my big chop today, i am so excited.. so we can grow our hair together..lol

  • My phone muted I replayed it. It's sulfate free thanks

  • Is the shampoo sulfate free ?

  • THOSE EARRINGS, I'm in love, where did you get them from? or did you make them? <3

  • u can also buy it at walgreens

  • I love shea moisture....cantu products also..

  • Shea Moisture deep treatment masque is really good and you can use it as a leave in conditioner also

  • i loveeee the smell of it lol

  • Yaay I'm so excited that you're doing a natural hair channel. P.S. I love Aphogee leave in conditioner it is thin so you may or may not like it but I think it leaves my hair feeling really soft.

  • that shampoo deosnt smell horrible loll!

  • SMH dolly do what u feel comfortable with! Im happy u chose to wear ur hair out after u big chopped ur brave bcuz when i did it i wasn't completely comfortable with my new look and had to adjust. So i wore WEAVES yeah i said it weaves!! (Invisible Parts) and as u said this was not only bcuz its great for protecting hair but i love to change my look very often too much according to some lol but defintely do kimmaytube's leave in and the Shea Moisture Coconut scent is AAAmazing try that next time

  • You need to get your hands on some Morrocan Oil!!! Giovanni Direct Leave-in is a good leave in..obviously lol, and the whole Mizani True Textures line is great. VERY moisturizing.

  • TRESemme is a very good moisture rich conditioner it untanges as soon as you put it threw your hair and your hair will be very soft

  • u look cute with ur hair i didnt see a failed hair do it looks good to me ur gorgeous

  • There's no real reason to co-wash if you're using a shampoo free of sulfates.

  • @briannadboyd i cowash instead of using shampoos sometimes. i cowash every 2 days and wash once a week.

  • @briannadboyd yes theres a reason, what if i want to wash my hair during the week and dont want to shampoo,,, smh

  • OMG you cut your hair!! it was so beautiful and long lol.

  • @bsweetandsimple I am sure it will grow natural eventhough she cut it.

  • Your hair is naturally curly, u don't really need a twist/coil out

  • I would say that giovanni smooth as silk conditioner is good for a deep conditioner.

  • Why was this video in the suggestions bar for me i was lookin at epic fails lol?? (btw idk what a coil out is but ya hair is pretty idk why u dont like it n also don't those earrings hurt lol?)

  • be ready for a long ride , natural hairs a lot work , enjoy it while its short.

  • I love Giovanni as well and curl junkie curl rehab

  • I love the Giovanni Deep Moisture Con as a DC.

  • The earrings are the hotness!

  • im in love with my triple moisture deep conditioner by neutrogena! try it out. cantu shea butter leave in conditioner is awesome as well. i use both

  • I think you just need to trim your ends the can curl. Its not a fail

  • I hope you follow Kimmaytube and Natural85

  • @Chardize i do! =)

  • For dryness in my hair I use a small amount of Oliver oil...and I also use T-tree's leave in conditioner. Its like $4-$5 at most local BSS. But it leaves your scalp with a nice tingle and it also makes hair thicker and stronger...

  • anyone know a site to get shea moisture items for cheap?

  • those earings!! O_O gorggg. and are they heavy as hell on your ears?

  • Awww how cute do you look with your short hair :) I've never been without the Shea Moisture products since I found out about them. Good luck. I'm subbed so I'll be checking back in to see your progress ;-)

    xoxo

    MsVaughnTV

  • I lOVEEE your earring ! <3 ... Where did you get them ! ?

  • @NaturallyD0lly i LOVEEE your earrings ! <3 Where did you get them ! ? ..

  • I love you with natural hair ... It really suits you

  • Wow your hair is growing already! I love the lustrasilk shea butter deep conditioner, it smells so good and costs less than $5. Also, a quick tip for your dryness. Its good to use the L.O.C. method to seal in moisture. Which is layering a liquid (leave-in conditioner), Oil (a light oil) and Cream (any butter or cream)on your hair. Hope this helps :-)

  • @NaturallyD0lly i get my extra virgin coconut oil at the Vitamin Shoppe. I use the organic store brand. It's about 8 but I'm still using mine from JANUARY!!

  • i like kera care shampoo, and the organic root stimulator replenishing conditioner truely awesome stuff..... my hair tex is like urs..... and i use rosemary oil and evoo together.... love all ur channels...yes i subbed to all of them for awhile now

  • Garnier Fructis makes a deep conditioner 3 Min Dryness Reversal treatment. Been using it in my daughter's hair after I shampoo and condition and it has worked wonders, especially since she swims twice a week.

  • I use the Shea Moisture restorative mask for my deep conditioner. I leave it in overnight. I rinse in the morning but I don't rinse it all out. That works really well for me. I am almost 7 months post BC :o)

  • Check out Kimmaytube's leave-in if you are having issues with dryness. And I know it is none of my business, but I think that you look absolutely stunning with short hair. You should wear your hair as you see fit, but I think that you are one of the rare women whose hair is just a distraction--it takes the attention away from your lovely face. But do you; just sayin'.

  • I did a BC over a year ago and now I am trying to grow it back, and seriously have a natural hair journey. BUT my biggest problem is that I CANNOT get a good hair regimen going! Idk if I am not using the products correctly or if I am simply not using the right products. It's becoming frustrating and I am thinking about going back to rocking my low cut!

  • love ur ear rings...where did u get them from?

  • If the smell turns you off just put a couple drops of natural vanilla extract in it

  • I'm a mixologist lol- so i mix everyday shea vanilla mint + aubrey organics honey suckle rose+ oils. The aubrey's is super thick..so i add the everyday shea to make it more like cake batter. As always keep the videos coming!

  • I'm glad you are keeping it real with us! Hey third time is a charm...keep the video's coming it's exciting to see your journey :-)

  • Kera care is also amazing with an awesom ph balance

  • Go to curlmart and see a ton of products and reviews-Curl Junkie is a favorite of many either the Deep Fix or the Curl Rehab for dc's. Also Motowngirl has great at home haircare recipes. Naturallycurly in the 4a section has a ton of useful info, would be advantageous to use it. Check out Naptural85's vids also.

  • Love the statement earrings! And they don't even look like they're dragging ur earlobes down, so they must be deceptively light!!

  • for a deep conditioner i really like one 'n only's argan oil restorative mask ( you can get it at sally beauty supply). that stuff makes my hair so happy. but if i can't get my hands on that i just go to the kitchen and mix together some mayo, evoo, and honey and put a cap on for a while and that works pretty well for my hair too. excited for you on your hair journey!

  • I also use Aubrey Organics Honeysuckle Rose as a DC! LOVE IT! I use there GPB as my protein DC also.

  • for my coil outs iuse the cantu shea butter mosturizer and the bonner brothers mosturizer in the white and pink bottle and ialso use a tad bit like a spoonful of grease or some type of oil imix it 2gether and coil it up and then use oil when utake the coils out it works pretty good or at least thats what i do i am about 3 or 4 weeks natural, but im a youtube fanatic so ikinda hav a good idea of what or what not works. Love ur channels suscribed 2 all 3 :)

  • I love that 'poo!!! And it does not strip!

  • aussie moist 3 minute miracle is a good deep conditioner...and cheap!

  • I think we have the sam curl patten because my coil out turned out the same way lol. S curl activator in the blu and white bottle is what I use while my hair is wet and curl enhanceing smoothie to began a two strand twist then I let the twists air dry after it dries I rub a dab of one and only argon oil throughout my twists then began to seperate the twists. If I'm in a hurry I use my diffuser on cool to dry the twists. Hope this helps

  • ur so pretty! more of these vids please!

  • there is a product line called Renpure...i love all of there stuff, but they have a great deep condish. i think it's called my pretty hair is parched or something. thx for the review!

  • i really like Jessie curl weekly deep treatment as a DC! its thick, great and very moisturizing! give it a try!!

  • omg plz plz tell me where u got ur earrings plz thanks love

  • My natural hair also dry super fast 2 use tha kimmay tube leave in r just plain aloe vera juice it brings your hair back 2 its pH im lookin 4 a good deep conditioner i used shea moisture deep conditioners i didn't like them i have been usin Giovanni conditioner w/evoo over nite

  • i have been transitioning to natural for almost 10 months now. a really great product line that i've fallen in love with is oyin handmade. their honey hemp conditioner is a staple for me and it can be used as a deep conditioner as well as a leave-in. great thing is, you can purchase sample sizes on their website to try out before committing to the full sizes. i can't say enough how much i love these products!

  • Check out KisforKinky(dot)com, they post a lot of ingredients to make your own DC, instead of buying it! :)

  • Your earrings are HUGE!

  • Love those earrings. Try Garnier Fructis Fiber Gum and mix it with a leave-in conditioner and styling foam. You may get the results you want. It holds without crunch or drying out your hair. Beyond the Zone is really good too. The SM is buy one get one half off now at Walgreens. I really like sweet oil (can't find it) or castor oil period after washing and conditioning my hair. Your hair is growing nicely.

  • You look sooooo cute! I love it

  • Yeah I definitely say to use Shea Moisture's DC. It will strength your hair & great for twist outs as well.

  • I love Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner as a DC. Or evoo.

  • @yazmynarlene thanks for the suggestion! i didn't know you could use EVOO alone as a DC. i'm learning new stuff everyday!

  • @NaturallyD0lly you can! most people like it as a prepoo, but I love it as a DC. Wet your hair with warm water then put evoo in it with a plastic cap. works better if the oil is warm too.

  • Keish I think you still have alot of permed ends boo boo! That may be why it wasnt as successfull! But I love shea moisture too! TeamNatural

  • @kieshakee14 someone else said that below. i guess i need to go back to the hair stylist. i thought she trimmed off the ends i missed! hehe. =)

  • @kieshakee14 Yes I agree, It looks like she still has some straight ends. It can take sometimes to really get all of those straight ends off but I would say keep snipping just a little so that your hair will curl or coil in the desired way in which you would want it!

  • Your natural hair really makes your features pop! It is so becoming on you. I also love the accessories that u select when wearing your natural hair. They give it that special touch of femininity. Unfortunately, I can't suggest a deep conditioner for u b/c I'm looking for one myself! LOL

  • @booboohips awe thank you! well, we're both in the same boat then. lol.

  • Karen Body beautiful hair masque, and try also sheer moisture deep treatment masque .For ultimate growth invest in the huetiful hair steamer, but I can't say enough about jojoba oil at night for nurturing the scalp. try these great staples.

  • @rnesbit2 thank you! i've seen reviews on the huetiful hair steamer. it seems to provides so much moisture!

  • you should have used a gel... that way it would giv u hold so that the curl will last...

  • @charice281 ok, i'll try that next time. =)

  • Oyin Honey Hemp is a multipurpose product. You can use it as a rinse out, detangler, leave-in and deep conditioner.

  • @trees9112 nice! i love multi-purpose products. thanks for the suggestion!

  • i WANT THOSE EARRINGS, i NEED THESE EARRINGS!!!! pllllllllllllllease HELP me :)))

  • @sweetnikkii lol! i put the link to the site in the box above. =)

  • I have not found my staple products yet and I am two years natural. I had my hubby take me to Walgreens yesterday to pick up some Shea Moisture Products.

  • @DariceHumphries nice. i hope they work out for you!

  • looking good girlie!!!

  • @HeLuvsParis thank you!

    Yes to Carrots Hair mask

and if you don't mind mineral oil, Lekair Cholesterol

    Aveda restorative

  • @AClockworkPear thank you so much for your suggestions!

  • we love you also!!!!! I really like moisturizing with coconut oil...but i hear that olive oil & honey is a great deep conditioner treatment..I havent tried it yet but you may want to check out jcokes7 here on youtube

  • @bogue1041 <3. i need to get coconut oil. someone else suggested her channel. i'm going to check it out in just a moment.

  • @bogue1041 so did you check out jcokes7 here on youtube? what are your thoughts?

  • I like that you posted it being it prove that this natural hair thing isn't as perfect as many Youtubers make it.

    Wishing you the best!

  • @AClockworkPear yep. this is definitely not something i'm used to, but just like with makeup or anything else, trial & error until perfection. =) thanks! <3

  • there's an owl sittin on your shoulders lol

  • @Lakia85fly lol!!

  • curl junkie's conditioners and styling products are amazing!!

  • @omoaluse thanks for the suggestions!

  • OMG!!!! Girl I have been using Shea Moisture products for the past 2 weeks and I love them. I have the shampoo, conditioner, and deep conditioner. It is the bomb!!! My hair definitely likes this stuff!

  • @SongbirdDiva4Life haha ikr! i need to pick up the DC ASAP.

  • Organic Root Stimulator Deep Penetrating Conditioner = Heaven in a Bottle. It's extremely moisture rich. Happy Hair Growing! (:

  • @errricadarshel033 ooo thank you! sounds heavenly!

  • You look great btw. Your video encouraged me to do my big chop too.

Organics Root Stimulator Olive Oil Replenishing conditioner is a good deep conditioner. I really love the smell and it makes my hair soft and shiny. I used it while as was transitioning too. I sometimes add a spoon of extra virgin olive oil to help seal in moisture. It's great, it's cheap. I love it.

  • @chocolate7026 yay! <3 I LOVE ORS replenishing packs. I should have specified in the video, but I need a good moisturizing one. I think I use way too much protein.

  • U should cut u're relax ends left and maybee your coil out will look better :) .

  • @lagomie i don't think i have anymore relaxed ends. i got a professional hair stylist to trim me up after my BC. all my hair curls up when I wash it.

  • @NaturallyD0lly okay i thought u've relax ends again left from your 1st BC on ur make up channel :)

  • Your hair grows very fast!

  • @TheMilly5 really? seems slow to me. i think it has grown faster since i cut off my relaxed hair though! natural hair grows faster and healthier!

  • I have wanted those earrings for so long :'( but they dont ship to the UK.

  • @lizlizlive awe =( i'm sorry.

  • u look even prettier with ur natural hair.. i think the wigs take away a little of ur natural beauty !!! much love

  • @ramoiselle thank you!

  • i remember when u wore those earrings on blogtv and everyone would ask about them..i want to cut my hair so badly

  • @melkrisable haha! yep! do it when you're ready. =)

  • a good moisturising deep con would be aubrey organics honey suckle rose. a good protein one would be organic root stimulator hair mayonnaise

  • @sayma8 thanks for the suggestions!

  • i love using NU GRO it's all natural and it works 4 me and it doesn't smell bad either<3 It took me a long time to find a product that works 4 my hair but so far so good but it is a bit pricey.

  • @jerseygirl149 nice. where did you purchase that from?

  • your hair is growing, prolly due to all the yummy goodies your feeding it, my hair over here jealous because it wants sum knot today hahahaha jp i use the neutrogena triple moisture deep conditioner it makes your hair feel like cotton after

  • @vermilla1 haha! thanks. i've heard great things about that DC.

  • The Deep Conditioning Mask from the SheaMoisture line is insanely good! You should try sealing with a mix of Castor and Extra Virgin Olive Oil (my staple!) & maybe you should try a moisturizing spritz. Hope these tips help.

  • @luvyaever thanks for the tips! i'll have to try their DC mask since I'm loving their other products.

  • omg i love sheaaa moisture products there the bomb =)

  • @lookatdadamage94 hehe ikr!

  • Great video !!!! Where'd you get the earrings from?

  • @OohlalaRaeeNicole thanks! i linked it in the box above. =)

  • I use the curl smoothie every day! Its my staple! Ive been doin a modified version of the tightly curly method & my hair has never been more moisturized & it's alot simpler. I make my own DC with equal parts if my fave conditioners& evoo. Also I use coconut oil instead of evoo for evry day. It's alot more moisturizing IMO. It mite work well for u

  • @babyv2992010 i've been wanting to try out coconut oil. where do you buy yours from?

  • i don't have " black hair " LOL :$

but i have reallly thick really dry curly spanish type hair

and i use morrocan oil mask and its greeaat!

  • @SpecialK1409 hehe nice!

  • Honey....my hair looked exactly like that...just shorter...I was NOT feeling it at all

  • @munchiie18 girl, YES! lol. i think i'll wait till my hair gets longer. wash and goes till then.

  • @BridezillaMartina i'll link it in the info box in a sec.

  • @NaturallyD0lly Thanks! Also, I just BC'd in April, and I am 13 months post relaxer now. This is my first time ever having short hair, but I'm glad I made the decision to BC.I also do videos on my natural hair, lacefront wigs, and etc. Feel free to stop by my channel to see my journey back to my pre-big chop long hair...lol. Anywho, you look fab, and congrats on your healthy hair journey. :)

  • @BridezillaMartina thank you! i'm about to check out your channel right now. =)

  • I still think you look great!! Love the look you were going for...lol....practice makes perfect!!

  • @aaadddixon thank you! yes, i have ALOT of practicing to do.

  • I highly recommend the Mixed Chicks Deep Conditioner. It will make hair detangling so hassle free like running your comb through butter! haha. It's pretty fairly priced too :) I ordered mine from curlmart.com
