If ever there was a band that should call it a day,it's the New Skid Row. They are lost with out Bach. His new music is just as amazing as the old SR stuff but they just don't have it anymore.

All I can say is I have seen the band play with Johnny 3 times and they are awesome live. The harsh criticism on these boards do not represent the reception from the thousands of fans who eat up their music. I was at rocklahoma and they heckled the hell out of Warrent's new singer right before Skid Row came on. Then Skid Row took the stage and received a very warm reception.

I have read the reviews for Rocklahoma & as another person & I where disussing they got the worst reviews of the show. I was not there all I can judge on is what I hear,see what I have read. IMO they where pretty dead on the mark.

I was there that day and Faster Pussycat was very sad. Bullet Boys still not to good, Warrant just looked bad and they didn't look that much into it. Firehouse did very good and cheered everyone up. I was never into them because they seemed like to much of a pop group. But they were a nice breath of fresh air when they took the stage. Before they came out everyone was sitting down listening. Then they came out and everyone jumped up and sang along.

Then you could really feel business pick up as Skid Row came out. You could hear things like, "they still sound really good with the new guy" and other nice things.

Now honestly, this lineup of the band is not everyone's cup of tea. Some people will never get into it. And that's fine. A lot of fans do. I prefer Johnny but I wouldn't put down Sebastian. But I prefer Johnny!

I recognize that Skid Row can't go forward with Sebastian. He was going off the deep end of not wanting to do the new stuff the others wanted to do. And I love the music and lyrics that Rachel, Snake and Scotti come up with and I am glad that they found a replacement that can take the heat of joining after Sebastian left and who's voice nicely complements their music.

I haven't heard Angel Down yet other than a live version of one of the ballots that I thought was enjoyable. I LOVE Thickskin. RPM has some good tunes on in like When God Can't Wait, Strength, and Another Dick in the System.
