the workout 'grace', is it 30 x clean and jerk or 30 x clean and press, or does it not matter as long as you get that finishing position? , arms locked out and looking through the window
At that time I was still working on my cleans and jerks. It is a power clean and should be a power squat clean. My jerks were absolutely presses - it was my first Crossfit WOD involving cleans and jerks and didn't think I did too bad considering. Thanks for the post!
Grace is getting the bar above your head in two moves. That is exactly the same as olympic lifting. Even in the olympics you dont have to use the clean and jerk technique but it happens to be the best way of getting the bar above your head in two moves. This guys technique is fine and may work best for him. Clean and press is fine
dude! i'm allowed my opinion. Grace as RX'd is 30 CLEANS (full squat) and JERKS. power cleans are half the work. power grace nice job... now try it with full squat cleans and see if your half as fast!

good job! only thing to make sure is that you keep your chest in when pressing so that your back isnt hyper-extending. flex those abs and back!

It's 135lbs Rx'd. I was unable to do it Rx'd so I scaled it back to 115lbs.

They're power clean and press.
I don't know if it matters and i'm not criticising i just thought GRACE was 30 x Clean & Jerk.
