The question is: this sounds good? If sounds good, doenst matter how many notes has. Is a simple question. For me, Batio sounds good, and BB King sounds good. One with too many notes; the other, littlle notes. This discussion is ridiculous: this have 10 notes, that have 1000. Repit: sounds good? So, its ok.

@kempobrad I think he's lying about his musical intentions. his media misleads his fans to make him look like that, when in fact, he's pretty down to earth, but I think he tries to be as fast and as metal as possible to attract large numbers of fans. He's not the musical person he's lying about being.

@kempobrad I guess I'm wrong, too.. I just don't know but I'm suspicious, because every time I hear his work, he doesn't go 3 or 4 bars without sweeping across the entire neck of the guitar. So far he's proving me wrong, but I'll keep my guard for now..

like i said, i love them both! i've had the privelage to meet joe and he is probably one of the most intelligent, humble people i've come in contact with! what i'm looking at is experience and knowledge and yes speed and technicality. having said that, joe is a great player, but if they're side by side on stage my focus would be on mab! sorry i love speed and mab has it, and yet his playing is soooo clean it's unbeleivable. not to mention he's ambidextrous and plays the quad! pretty badass!
