Yes, I can appreciate that but what you have to look at is the reason why you chose that particular procedure to focus on. Castration has a 'taboo' aspect because it's of a sexual nature and is a disturbing concept to men. Girls find it amusing because it doesn't affect them in the same way and use it to deliberately provoke. There IS a tone of, 'Teehee, it's a girl doing it'. That's jeering. If you wanted it to be without humor you probably wouldn't have chosen that clip. Think about it ;)
castration isnt sexual at all. and i dont know were your from but here in the mid-west we spend atleast a week on casteration and a 9 weeks on Artifical Insimination in our ag classes. and we do alot of on hands expearments like this.

A teenage girl tearing the testicles out of a frightened animal is simply not funny. It may amuse you but it seriously offends a lot of people and only really shows you up as a sexually immature person. There is an international group of veterinarians lobbying for the banning of these castration clips because of people like you.
this video was not posted to be humorous. it was posted to show that high school kids actually do get to do hands on things. we are the only high school in the entire valley that gets to do something like that.

in life people who commit crimes get punished themselfs one way or another now i study biology why an earth did u need to do that what kind of exprement was that??? and futher more could u at least find a way to spare that animal any pain
first most piglets will squeal like that just by picking them up
second you cut their nuts off for the same reason you nueter your dog and so they grow faster and because they don't stink to high heaven and they tend to be less agresive and so it dosn't taint the taste of the meat
although I use novicain when I do it so they don't feel it as much.
it is still in my view unnecessary. and I would not do it to a dog either. I believe if its not good enough for me its not good enough for them as well.
@Un4given1988 if a pig isnt castrated his meat will have a sour taste and if you have ever tasted sour meat you no that it doesnt taste good at all! trust me i know i have over 12000 hogs
