I have XBOX360, PS3 and an i7 with two nvidia gtx 590's... which is what I'm typing on right now, hehe. But what I really want to ask is what racing game should I get? I prefer to get a console based simply due to my preference for controllers + I just got a new LCD so it should look great either way. I'm thinking either Forza for the XBOX or Turismo 5 for the PS3... with the possibility of the latest Dirt for PC. I want it to be realistic, have nice maps/scenery and many good RACE cars.no honda

actually damage is realistic you can unlock heavy damage, still your car will take less damage the first few hits to keep ur car looking nice since it sucks if you get hit by another car at the start and u have to do the whole track with a load of damage :P

@xCobi good point. Japanese cars have been pretty shitty lately, since they're cutting costs by switching to plastic, using shitty engines and increasing the sales price.

Toyota used to make the most cost efficient cars, with simple engines that don't fuck up so easily (like the AK74's) and safe, because they use a more sturdy aluminium body and bumpers. I guess toyota wanted to make it to the american demographic, resulting in the shitty cars we have today.

being able to put pieces of track together like an in-game train-set would have made the 2 YEAR! wait so worth it.

Or they should have scraped the idea for a city level with traffic.

@sk8ervzla Don't get me wrong, gt5 is smashingly great, and i can't Imagen the headache in its planning dynamics, but in the end the challenge for consumers like us, is the same. shave as much time off ur lap while preserving the tires and slip streaming. Ring a bell?: GT1,GT2,GT3,GT4,GT5. legendary racers that deliver the same thing.

At least 1 city map with oncoming traffic etc like midnight club (but with GT physics) would have made GT5 stand way above the rest.
