Catit Drinking Fountain

my cat only drinks from running faucets....to cut down on the expense i bought a fountain he luvs it lol

My cat seems scared of this fountain. It makes a bit of noise too. Any suggestions on how to get her to use it? I already let her eat the dry kibbles next to the fountain, but as soon as she's done, she'll run away!

@woodwhips You could not be more wrong. Cats do not have a true thirst drive. Combine this fact with dry kibble and you have a high potential for kidney disease. Cats drink more when their water is clean and oxygenated. My cats prefer drinking out of clear glass dishes rather than from plastic or steel ones.

Is she only Russian Blue or is she mixed with something else? I have a Russian Blue.....the vet said he was definitely Russian Blue but he has black rings on his tail and white tips on his chest and side of his belly.
