Why can't the Armenian Church, Georgian Church, and Russian Church put a Russian style icon of Jesus Christ on the high altar instead of Mary? Mary is not a god. So, why worship her?

I am a former Roman Catholic who is in the process of joining the Antiochian Orthodox Church. I'm not sure if the Antiochian Orthodox and Armenian Orthodox Churches are in union or not, but I loved this video and I loved the images and the music. Due to a misunderstanding and secular influence at the 4th Ecumenical Council, the Oriental Churches have been wrongfully accused of being Monophysites, but they never professed to be in the first place.
The Oriental Churches believe that Jesus is both True God and True man but not seperate.

I am not trying to start a fight here but if it does so be it. But we can't blame anyone for what happened. It happens almost every single year. We both have to be ashamed for what happened.
Greeks have lost the sense of what it means to be Orthodox. Thankfully the Slavic peoples/Russians converted, otherwise Byzantium would only be a memory. Just remember, the Greeks and Romans were in communion until 1054, and they re-defined the Christological formula of St. Cyril of Alexandria and split Christ into two. Much more can be said, it's a two way street, nobody has a monopoly on Orthodoxy or or the Holy Spirit.
Byzantine Greeks basically started a scorch and burn policy against the Armenians extending to Justianian, also with political espionage. The Greeks murdered, burned, pillaged and assassinated the Armenians nation from the farmers to the kings all in the name of orthodoxy by rejecting the new Chalcedonian formula. Unfortunately, none of this history has been told the Eastern Orthodox. And people like you only make the problems worst. We don't need Greek monks in an Armenian ceremony.

I am a former Roman Catholic who is in the process of joining the Antiochian Orthodox Church. I'm not sure if the Antiochian Orthodox and Armenian Orthodox Churches are in union or not, but I loved this video and I loved the images and the music. God willing, both Chalcedon and non-Chalcedon Churches will eventually forgive each other.
Due to a misunderstanding and secular influence at the 4th Ecumenical Council, the Oriental Churches have been wrongfully accused of being Monophysites, but they never professed to be in the first place.
The Oriental Churches believe that Jesus is both True God and True man but not seperate.
Hope this helps explain some things.

Greeks have lost the sense of what it means to be Orthodox. Thankfully the Slavic peoples/Russians converted, otherwise Byzantium would only be a memory. Just remember, the Greeks and Romans were in communion until 1054, and they re-defined the Christological formula of St. Cyril of Alexandria and split Christ into two. Much more can be said, it's a two way street, nobody has a monopoly on Orthodoxy or or the Holy Spirit.

You need to check up on history and stop believing in the lies you are fed. The Georgian language first appeared in writing in about 430 AD in an inscription in a church in Palestine. At that time it was written with an alphabet known as Asomtavruli or Mrglovani, which was used until the 9th century.

Armenian Alphabet was created long time ago and every Letter is the first letter of the words from talking about God as creator of life in universe, it's begin from God and end by birth of Christ. During time it was lost before Mesrop Mashtoc find them again and create just 7 letters he could not find for complete alphabet of UNIVERC and he bring grammar to Armenian language which is perfect even at this day.

I was attended Geghard Monestary as a godfather. By looking at the pictures, it's not the same when you visit these sites, it gives you energy when you enter them. Good work.
