@r4ltman Might not actually be a case of spookily coincidental 'same frequency'. Eighties Matchbox played some opening gigs for QOTSA. Wouldn't be surprised if this video came out before Go With the Flow.
Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if this one was released after Go With the Flow. Either way, some form of cross-pollination is undeniably there.
@dubbelzuurrr here's the thing man, at the end of the video it sez copyright 2002 so, there you go, and just for giggles, i never check youtube for messages on a regular basis at all, ever. which is why this frekuancy.
these guys wer cool, did some great music vids too , this being one of em. the horse of dog album was excellant never checked out there second didnt hear much good stuff about it..... are they still goin. really good guitars saw em at glastonbury in 03' they played well altho i seem to remember a problem with a mic. one of my favourite early 00's era bands. one of the best brittish bands of this decade..........
@TheHappydead check out royal society, savage album that i blew two stereos headbangin away (:all there stuff is mental thank god im crazy and know what there on about!
somehow this song and "in the garden" (more i don`t know) remembers me to marilyn manson (antichrist superstar and before albums). am i alone with this opinion?
@spursfan1977 i wunt say they're nowt like manson, there's a song by him quite similar to this. i hear more of a black flag influence. the first few seconds of 'celebrate your mother' is the bassline from 'the bars' by black flag.
Love it!!!

I've always felt the Dead Kennedys influence, but vocally, the very low-pitched 'narrator' type thing makes me think Stooges more than anything :)
