Yes...I think it was the Michael Reilly version that I lo ved so much. Why is it that I cant find it?

All I can ever find is David Soul.

Michael Reilly's version was the better one. Not hokey like this but withe real feeling. You know, authentic.

I have to find my cassette tape collection. Its from 40 years ago. If the tape doesnt corrode away I do have a copy.

Its easy to record without a connection. Jusr put a mike into the computer and record with sdund recorder program. If I find the casette I will do it this way and put it on a video program and add photos.

Mikes Reilly version isnt done looking down on hicks in the Roaring Twenties but with real heartfelt nostalgia. That's the difference between Mike Reilly's original and David Soul's cover

I remember hearing the Mike Reilly version of this on the radio in Washington, DC, in 1971. I had not heard or heard of any other version of this song until now. It's been 38 years since I heard the Reilly version, but what I remember of it, I definitely liked it better than this one.
